Debate Flight or Invisibility

be honest, if you suddenly discovered you could turn invisible, what would you be more concerned about? discovering how it happened, or sneaking around and causing trouble (and doing the obvious)?

 

So do be a downer, but this doesn't really follow the Debate Forum rules : /

 

I've been saying the same thing for years now, but I've never heard anyone else agree independent of my influence.

As per the topic at hand, I would have to say flight. It's a very difficult decision (one reason why the question is still so popular today), but I've always sought the same feelings of freedom and life and beauty I can achieve in my dreams, none of which are about being invisible.

 

Exhniliation? (The opposite of annihilation, the act of creating something out of nothing)

The ultimate superpower is too be able to give yourself other superpowers.

 

I'd have invisibility because it's much less risky. If you could fly then you face the danger of freezing and suffocation from flying too high. Also you'd get all wet if you fly through clouds. Also you could crash into stuff and you'd be very high profile.

Invisibility speaks for itself, really: Low profile, low danger. I'd have that 100%

 

Invisibility because you can do things with out being seen lol only bad side is that your naked lol.

 

what do you mean you are naked?is there some rule that you gotta be nude before going invis?

 

Yes, but I believe that is just cheating the system. Like wishing for infinite wishes in a "what would you wish for if you met a genie" thread, it must be excluded for the argument to be valid and is thus null.

Cheating is by definition, breaking the rules.
I was merely saying it was the ultimate superpower.
There are no rules about the ultimate superpower except that it must be a superpower.

 

invisibility. unless that is only invisible as long as the standard spectrum goes, if you can be seen in infra red or ultra violet then it would be stupid, and only if you don't give of a head signature, totally undetectable, untracable, unstoppable, free reign over everyone

 

Flight or Invisibility? I would have to go with invisibility, then i can go anywhere.....

Definitely Invisibility, if you could fly, you could possibly be taken in by the government for genetic testing, you could possibly be out-casted by the general public, but, I feel it could pay off if you play your cards right and get the media on your side. If you picked invisibility, well it's mostly all been said, but invisibility for me.

Personaly i would choose invisibility because it seems like alot of fun (and unlike flight there is no chance of bumping into a pidgeon). My reasons behind this are:
1) seems fun
2) won't attract attention
3) im scared of hights (yep im a big baby)
4) if i somehow lose my powers i won't be at risk of falling to my death
5) unlike flight not much chance of being kidnaped and experemneted on by the goverment
