Temple 2 Reminiscing the memories of the past can be fun, especially when it comes to video games. Recently a couple of friends and I decided to pull out my old 64 and play some classic games such as Perfect Dark and 007 Golden Eye. It was then that one of my friends suggested that I bring back a map or two. So I started going through the maps and I came upon Temple, which I knew would be suitable for Sandbox for its Egyptian like setting. I eventually got back on Halo after a few hours of 64 and got started forging it. As a few hours went by, I realized that budget takes out a lot of the fun when creating a map on a massive scale. So with this small but fixable problem, I decided to connect the rooms that I had by linking smaller hallways so that the entire map would flow evenly, as well as having all areas easy to access. for instance, this the the Golden Column room leads to the upper corridor, lower tomb, and down to the Overshield hall after passing the overshield hall, you will be forced to go up ramp to the left wich leads you back to the main corridor back to the lower tomb, which again can be accessed through the golden column room, has multiple rows of columns that players can use to their advantage for either stealth or protection. The easiest way out of the tomb, would be through the cloak room. the cloak room is the second largest room on the map, mainly for the three way access points, and for those who really dont feel like going out to the main corridor for confrontations last but not least, the Main Corridor for which most of the confrontaions occur, there are 6 access ways to this place and an additional way out through the hole near the center that leads to the tomb below. This allows an easy flow for its upper and lower level, and not to mention a convenient way out for one who has taken a considerable amount of damage The main focus on this map was for free for all based game play, or zombies for all you hard core fans out there. The weapons on this map are: Spartan laser: north side in the main corridor Sniper: south side of the main corridor Swordn ramp accesing the cloak room on the north side Plasma Rifles(2): west hall near ramp accessing center Mauler: north east side hall leading to overshield hall SMG(2): south west corner leading down to small room Brute Shot: south west room Shotgun: east side hall near ramp accessing center assault rifle: golden column room south east corner Gravity Hammer: lower tomb Power Ups on this map are: cloak: north east corner in cloak room Overshield: north west in overshield hall The credit for this map variant goes to the RAREWARE developers who created its original design, and may their games never be forgotten! hope you enjoy this map's remaking, and feel free to download it off my file share RAYZOR 1987
I recommend fixing your pictures, I can't tell tell what the map is about. Go to-haloscreenshots.net, enter your GT and get the pics. Should be big crisp pictures. EDIT:And you need a download link to the file. Make sure it's not to your fileshare.
Even with the unlimited budget glitch, there's another checkpoint that you can't beat...the dreaded hard limit. Possibilities would be almost endless without it. Anyways, it looks like a decent map, but I recommended adding some extra "looks" to it. Aesthetics as we call it here. If you want me to help you with this, just message me.
I agree that the pictures are way too small, but from what i can see, it looks like a small indoor map made on the ground floor of sandbox. The forging looks organized and interesting, but that's all i can say until the pictures are fixed. Also, i would suggest adding more of a description and weapons list or something so that people can get a feel for the map.
Looks interesting i like the look of that area with the oversheilds but the "cloakroom" is just the best name will download and have a dabble later
like the map but does play work when you have a Sword, Gravity Hammer AND a shotgun? love the map. i think infection would be great on this.
I have to agree. There are some small rooms on this, and the guns would maybe be overpowered. I'll test it out and check.
