Ramparts V2 By Sourdauer Description This is a map i made a long time ago, even before the legendary map pack came out. i wasn't planning on posting this, but i had a jump in energy today and i think it uses some unique techniques and structures. The map is made primarily for slayer and i dont think it's set up for anything else. The shape of the map is generally a cross, and semi-symetrical. Power Weapons The map centers around 2 power weapons and an active camo. each one is set in a branch of the cross. sniper and active camo are reachable only by the grav lift barriers. From what I see, it's a pretty map. I love it when people take they're time on interocking. Map looks like it has an awesome feel to it to. Great job mate.
This looks like a pretty fun map ill ahve to download and try it. The only thing i found wrong with it is in the first picture, the walls would be to easy to get over, you should make that higher. Otherwise great job 4/5 Definately better than my maps XD
Please tell me why you neglected this map for so long. This map looks incredible! With the flood of Sandbox maps, some good, many only okay, and some bad, Foundry maps have a new impact on the forums. This one looks particularly good, due to the amazing forging on it, and what seems to be great weapon placement, especially the sniper perch. The staircases also look incredible, giving a great new feel to the map. You might want to consider replacing the needler with something else, such as a sniper or different power weapon, and then interlocking a weapon holder to make it floating, and perhaps some interlocked teleporters to create arrows. I know that seems ridiculous, but it would really help to complete the feeling of that grand staircase and podium. Definitely downloading this to try out with my friends. It seems like it could be both casual and competitive. EDIT: I just read the bottom of your post. Unfortunately, it is technically against forum rules to rate threads without playing the map, and I won't be able to test this until tomorrow. I'll try to remember to come back to this thread, though.

Very good map mate, i love the fact that its on foundry, because at the moment, sandbox is pissing me off. the interlocking is really neat and the gamepplay turns out really well. 8/10
thanks for the posts guys! i honestly wasn't expecting much positive feedback but you proved me wrong. i think im going to get a patent on the wraparound staircase because im the first to use it. once again, thanks a lot.
This is an awesome map. What's right: - I love the staircases they look damn cool. - The gameplay is great and balanced. Criticism: -I got out of the map by grenade jumping. Overall really good job 4.7/5 from me. I want to see what you can make on Sandbox

Yes he is right your interlocking is pretty good.it looks very clean. maybe you could geo-merge some of your objects that you looks better. overall you got a good layout i like it.
As said above, the map is very easy to get out of. But then again, who cares as long as it plays good? I had this idea in my head a few days ago, but never got to making it. Map: 6/5 I love this map as much as my hands. Pictures: 5/5 I finally see good pictures of a map. Forging tricks: 4.8/5 Awesome staircase.
