Shipment A remake of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare map Shipment. Intended for 2-8 players. Great for 1v1's Line of sight preserved to mimic that of the original map. Spawning is identical to the original. Objective points are identical to the original. Only way to break the map is a very well placed grenade jump. CoD4 HQ Movement and damage feel identical to Call of Duty gameplay. HQ Locations are exactly the same as the original map. CoD4 Domination Movement and damage feel identical to Call of Duty gameplay. "Flag" Locations are exactly the same as the original map. CoD4 Team Death CoD4 FreeForAll CoD4 SnD Movement and damage feel identical to Call of Duty gameplay. Bomb plant Locations are exactly the same as the original map. This game type is not identical to the original game type. For instance; If the bomb is defused the round does not end, the bomb is simply reset.
You say the map is unbreakable but then judging by the top right corner of the pic it looks like someone can jump on the dumpster and then jump out of the map over the wall. Other than that, this looks bad ass. I am not a big fan of Shipment.
is it just my crap internet, or are there no pictures, if so corect pictures. nice idea tho creating cod4 maps
Since i created the game types to emulate cod4 gameplay. No you wont be able to just over the walls because you have 150% gravity
It looks just like shipment, Although you shouldnt use halo barrels as the cod barrels because halo barrels are movable , use something small and immovable. I wont download not because you didnt do good just simply because shipment sucks. Admit it. Edit: quick question, how did you make HQ? I bet it is nothing like Cods.
Wow, it looks rather good, but I need to check it out ingame before I can give you a full review, I'm downloading right now and I'll be back in about 10 minutes. I've many curiosities about this map, as you can't spawn with your weapons, I'm hoping you were smart enough to place the weapons as they are in Old School mode.. If not you've already failed.
there are very few locations where it would be possible to nade jump out of the map. also, there are no brute shots on this small map understandable ^^
Its a variant of king of the hill. it plays out very similarly but ofc its not exactly the same as the original. It is still very easy to understand and play. lol oldschool mode.... just lol i will never make a map in any way similar to old school mode. sorry.
this looks pretty good i tried doing it but i stopped bcause it thought it would take to long im guessing nade jumps would kill u cause of lower health right?
"The remake is spot on. Actually one of only a few COD maps I remember but this one is nearly perfect in the remake. I just hate the fact that one simple nade jump and your out. If your playing with anyone who feels like jumping out they can. Is there a way to add another level of walls up so its higher? Other than that, for a remake, nicely done. 3.5/5" says former Green Bay QB Brett Favre.
you really should learn how to interlock and and geo-merge your object. at the moment it looks very unclean. you can learn how to geo-merge,interlock ect at forge 101 here in this forum just check it out.
I felt I should comment because you're new and there is a brief amount of great comments in this thread. Let me start on saying well done for having a perfect, or near perfect thread. Which is unlikely among the average new member. The reason i say near perfect is even with the size off the map more pictures would do it justice, especially action shots or even a video to show off the gameplay. As they say, a picture is worth 1000 words. As for the map, it has been done many times. Not to say its bad, don't get me wrong. Its dificult to comment on the layout because its a remake but as far as Call of duty remakes go, the two games are different, respectively. They play very different, thus the map built has very high chances for not playing well. I needed to get that out the way, it is my excuse for saying very little on the map. Block it off with two walls or even go as far as three. A grenade jump, not even that can get a player out of the map boundries. Geomerge the open box down so there isn't a slight bump, add more cover because like I said earlier they are very different games, going prone would be an example. In all, the map looks great but take my advice. I recommend that everyone plays this before commenting. - Driscoll Edit: I notice you have many gametypes, so I appologize if the gametypes fix any problems that I mentioned. If you want your map to gain a lot of downloads then perfect them for the original halo 3 gametypes. Some might not have space or like the gametypes, so they can't enjoy the map. thus giving a bad review.
