My new high-cap, propane adapter, and glasses should be here sometime this week. I'll let you know how they turn out.
This Saturday is Bl00D F1R3's Birthday, so we're going to have a huge all day/night game with alot of people. Should be lots of fun.
And if anybody is coming to Canada in the next couple months, I will give you the money to buy me a gun, come across the border, and ship it to me... :p Nah just kidding, it's illegal to smuggle them over... I'm still saving up for my JG M4A1 though...

Asc, if I were you, I would just save up the extra 50 bucks and get the g&g version. It's going to go a long way without having to fix it constantly and you will not have to worry about lemons as much.

I just got 2 of these as my first guns. One for me and one for my friends if they don't have one and we have an airsoft fight. I also got : This
    and this.

EDIT: Pistols have 26 shots per clip and come with 2 magazines each.

You may be right, but I don't want to spend too much money on airsoft. Most of my friends quit anyways, and the only thing I'm going to use it for the occasional game every month or so, and plinking cans. Maybe a dog or too. Hehe, I'm so evil.

Those pistols are pretty terrible. Bl00D F1R3 had one, and it broke within a day or two. And he never took it to the field, he just shot it around his house... If you want to get into airsoft, go buy yourself an AEG. Not a shitty walmart one, I'm talking a JG or Echo 1.

Well if you're not even going to play that much then a CYMA is perfect for you along with JG/Echo1.

Hehe, those pistols are terrible, my friend broke his so I opened it up and found that the hammer bar was broken. My tokyo marui USP has lasted me 4 years and still kinda works.
Pistols are fun for plinking around in your back yard but not for actual ops.

G36c's are ok, but I suggest finding a better brand, and a G36k, if you can find it, as they are more accurate.

This question isn't airsoft, but more for their Real Steal counterparts.

What is the tactical advantage of the curved magazine in the M16/M4
    series?
Does it hold more ammo, or what?

If you're getting a clone gun like jg then shop at airsoftmegastore.com, they have some insanely cheap prices.

And about the curved magazine thing, yes, it does hold more ammo without being straight that might get in the way when going prone. Though I just made this up I'm guessing that's what it's for.

    M4s and G36s both have curved magazines. The G36 magazine is slightly bigger though. M4 mag - 300 (normal hi-cap) G36 mag - 450 (normal hi-cap)

The G36 stock can be a pro or a con, but I think it should have had a folding stock, and the rails are too far forward for it to work with a foregrip. The rails on the top are good for scopes, but some versions' iron sights don't come off easily. The hand guard at the top also doesn't come off, but the G36C has a lower one, so you don't have to adjust your hop-up so it is accurate and zeroed in with your optic so much, or at all.

Can anybody recommend a gas pistol? I hear those things are stylish, and sexy. I'm leaning towards M1911s, because they are the sexiest handguns ever. M9s, not so much.

A G36 Mag is about 1.5x the size of a normal STANAG (M16) Mag. G36 Mags are also a ***** to find pouches for. They are a tight fit in my double STANAG mag pouches... But the interlocking mechanism is quite nice.

As for GBB, either go KSC, or TM. If you're looking at a 1911, I'd recommend a TM 5.1 or 4.3 High-Capa. It'll outlast your AEG.

TM hopups are supposed to be godly and fly straight and true. Though is you just want a metal gun that's also really good then go with KSC.

I have gone through 8 broken airsoft guns in my career, and I am tired of having to buy new ones >.<. Then again, I got most of them at a flea market.

Exactly, but those guns are good for practicing painting and that's all they're good for.

    They're good for burning too.

Can I slap on a silencer/barrel extender onto a GBB? I remember this guy did...or maybe it was an NBB...

EDIT: This is sexy. Click for sexiness.

Can anyone else link me to a chrome GBB? Also...I like the rails on it, and because it's essentially a shortened M1911, which is better for CQB.

airsoftgi may have some pretty high prices on their guns. Try looking for a different retailer though their customer service is excellent.

Airsoft GI is great for customer service. I got my gearbox from them and their customer service is great!
    I'm planning on buying a G&G M4A1 now...

Well I put in a new piston the other day then fired off a couple shots in my backyard. Then for some reason it stopped firing and a bunch of bbs just came out my barrel. So I was like oh crap so I opened up my gun and took out my upper gearbox. It rattled inside and I was guessing that it was the ball bearings that had exploded. I was right so I just removed the mangled ball bearing cage and bearings, screwed the piston directly on the piston head and was fine after that.

    Scary experiences I tell ya.
