Hey everyone, I'm new at this so let me know if I'm totally missing the mark with what I'm doing. I've got this map, Lollerville, which you can find here:

    Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details

It's essentially based off of the idea of a classic battleground for me and my roommate to play 1v1 like the good old days of Halo 1, and although it became a larger map than a solely 1v1 map, it is still best suited for smaller games. In horizontal (and probably overall) size I'm pretty sure it is smaller than any map released by Bungie so far. So yeah, it's for smaller games, or especially FFA games, or really ****ed up carnage with larger games.

I tried to make the map support all gametypes, and although it is better suited for more open-ended gametypes (Slayer, Oddball, even Territories) rather than more objective-based gametypes (Flag and Assault mainly), I think that the way that I set up Flag and Assault games on the map could work strangely well. I don't actually know because I don't know enough people to test the map out on those kind of gametypes.

    Here's some pictures:

Of the map from far away, from the "Attacker" side of the map:

From far away, from the "Bottom" side of the map:

And finally, from close up on the center battleground of the map:

As you can probably tell, I did not use any fancy-shmancy geometry merging, interlocking, or glitches, and not because I don't think that stuff is totally freaking awesome, but just because I didn't know how to do that stuff (and still haven't really tried it). So the map is made pretty simply, like Legos, rather than in a very complicated way like some of the nicer maps that I am now discovering exist in the Halo community. Hopefully that still doesn't detract from its playability.

Also, as a warning to anyone who might want to edit this map in some way, I should say that I kind of botched the whole item budget deal, and so there are literally just as many objects on the map as it will allow. So you can't really add anything. At all. Sorry about that, I wish it weren't the case, if only so I could tweak the map a little. But that's how it is.

So, I hope that at least somebody downloads this and can give me some constructive feedback on it. I really tried to cover all the bases, it plays just about all normal gametypes and I think the spawns are generally reasonable, along with the weapons (although I don't know about the rocket launcher--my roommate insisted that it be included) and goals, so now I just need to see if any of that **** actually works like I expect it to.

Hope you download it, hope you have some fun on it, and if you don't at lease give me some feedback on why not.

I would like to start off by welcoming you to Forgehub ctkay. I hope you enjoy your stay and I hope my post can get your map up to the proper standards.

I'll try the best I can to help fix your problem. I have provided you with two guides, one is in the spoiler tag and the other is a link. If you click either one of the two it will open a tutorial on how to properly embed screen shots.

Just follow this simple 4-step process:

    1. Visit Haloscreenshots.net and enter your gamertag

    2. On your screenshots page, click on the image you wish to embed

    3. Highlight the link for the “BBCode (High Impact Halo)”

    4. Paste the link into your post

    BAM SCREENSHOT!

    -Method Two-

Since you are a new member it would be a wise choice to also take a look over the Rules.

And here are the rules and guidelines of posting a map.

If that isn't enough information for you, then feel free to contact me or any other member on the site to help you.

    Re:

Umm rofl I feel stupid now. Could you be more specific about what I messed up besides how I embedded my pics?

And should I follow that process and re-post the pics (if it's even worth it) or can people see them as they are?

That's the only problem that I see that occurred in your map post.
I have provided you two guides that should give you the knowledge of how to embed a screen shot. If you have any more problems, or still don't understand, feel free to message me.
