We live in the twenty first century; we don't rely on the fear-mongering prophecies of witch doctors. We don't believe that lightning is caused by angry gods raining down their fury upon the earth. We use facts. We use science. We use logic. Things exist because they exist. A is A. We don't rely on the suggestions of drug-induced hallucinations to speculate in the stock market; we evaluate the market and determine whether or not it's an intelligent choice. As much as these so-called experts try to push that their highly unbased statistical analysis of a Chinese fortune telling game predicts the end of the world, that's not science. Hell, watching Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman determining if goldfish are bored or stupid is more science than that.
