    In the begining...

One fatefull night, 3 friends set up a forge match with one goal in common, WIN. Unfortunately, after almost 3 hours of work, we realized it turned out be fail, but we salvaged what we could and present to you.... ALL YOUR BASE ON BELONG TO US. This map started with one goal in mind...

"Wouldn't it be awesome to make a map called all your base are belong to us?" Shikaze said, quite quizically.

"Yes," I said laughing, "but we have to have an on in there somewhere..."

"All your base on belong to us" renounced Crimson Pride89.

And the flurry had begun, we started contemplating stuff we could do. But in the end decided all the bases would have to be completely and totally random. A few days past and me and Shikaze shared our idea with our friend Rackem, Rackem Willie77. After screwing around for one day on Foundry, we had some pretty awesome base layouts... but Apples, myself, forgot to save, because I am dumb. So we had to start ALL OVER. When we launched up again, it was only Rackem and I, setting forth into the unknown map laying before us... Shikaze then joined later to help complete this daunting task, to create the map you see today.

(if you don't like story time... screw you)

    The Story...

    IN A.D. 2101
    WAR WAS THE BEGINING
    *explosion*
    CAPTAIN: WHAT HAPPEN ?
MECHANIC: SOMEONE SET UP US THE BOMB.
    OPERATOR: WE GET SIGNAL.
    CAPTAIN: WHAT !
    OPERATOR: MAIN SCREEN TURN ON.
    CAPTAIN: IT'S YOU !!
CATS: HOW ARE YOU GENTLEMEN !!
CATS: ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US.
CATS: YOU ARE ON THE WAY TO DESTRUCTION.
    CAPTAIN: WHAT YOU SAY !!
CATS: YOU HAVE NO CHANCE TO SURVIVE MAKE YOUR TIME.
CATS: HA HA HA HA !!

    Map Description:

All Your Base on Belong to Us is an extremely fun 8 territory map... built for 4 team territory action! Some bases have a unique and fun function, for example the ODST Base can be used to quickly assault other bases, and the Destructable Base is... well... destructable. This map is the perfect map if you constantly find yourself with a big party but nothing to play! This map starts each team in a base and allows players to capture as many other bases as possible before the end of the 5 minute round. To prevent spawn camping players are granted a 3 second duration after they spawn of invincablity, and to symbolize this, the players turn white. Territories don't lock and there is no sudden-death. Other than that, its basically territories, except 9001x (over 9000) more fun.

    Final Notes:

    -Apples R Us-
Making this map was extreme fun, and playing on it was even better! I hope everyone enjoys it! And to all you haters... This map doesn't need to be much cleaner... its fine as it is... and just because its open doesn't mean its bad... I hope you guys like enjoy this map as much as I did! If you ever want to play this invite me!

(created and calibrated ODST Base, did all objective spawns, spawn, respawns, and helped with the random clutter/filler)

    -Rackem Willie77-
Yes, as Apples said, the idea was failed, so we decided that the bases needed to be completely random in design and not make much sense, but that's what makes gameplay so fun (IMO). Say you're going to the crate base. Someone can rather sneakily use the ODST base to launch over there and noob own the person trying to cap. And yes, it is kind of sloppy, but it was meant to look random and cluttered and not like a traditional map. All in all, it is a fun map to play and definitely great for big parties with lots of friends in it, and is totally made of 80% win/ 20% fail. XD

(created all other bases on the main level, and helped with clutter/filler)

    -ShikazePrime-
    No comment.... for now...

its kind of meant to be lop-sided... all the teams will go after the best base... and the dostroyable bases are there just for fun... to make the whole game more intense... and you rated but the map still hads no DLs... you have to DL before you rate...

Did you know that Whats a Scope had already created a mini game with the same name? This almost makes me think that you stole the name.....
Anyway, I'm not goin to make a fuss about this, on tto the map review. The map itself looks really sloppy, especially the ODST base. The Idea of a base that can be destroyed is not very new, it has been done before. However, I really like the map layout and the idea of the game.
A V2 with a bit more cover and more gimmicks to the bases would be nice. This idea could also work on sandbox, with the open areas and what not. I'm not going to rate it as I cant get to the xbox right now but judging from the pictures it seems to be a decent map.

thanks for the honest review, as to the name stealing... we honestly didn't and I am sorry to him... I might look it up soon and see if they are too similar... also, the ODST Base was IMO one of the cleanest interlocking wise... pictures dont do that base justice really... and adding more cover is difficult because we only had 1$ left (we were going to make a central base but that stopped us...) and why didn't we do it in Sandbox? Also Rackem doesn't have Sandbox yet, and we were all more familiar with Foundry, but i appreciate your comments and we were already discussing a V2 for Sandbox when Rackem gets Mythic... Thank you...

Just a quick note, as previously stated, this name has ALMOST been taken before.. With the same name as you wanted, but you couldn't figure it out.. The previous creator called it "AllUrBaseRBel on gToUs" Or something of that sort, I believe. However, that's not important..

Regarding the map, it seems decent. Rather sloppy, with some odd 'base' designs.. Small box area surrounded by crates? Three Double Box, Opens flipped upside down with a ramp in between? I rather like the idea with Territories though. Like you wanted, people go for the secure bases because they know they can capture them, and the destructible ones are hard to gain. Overall I'd say this map is rather well done, with my personal scores of:

    Gameplay: 3/5
    Aesthetics: 1/5
    GameType Setup: 3/5

So, with my final overall score of 2.8/5, that rounds to 3/5.
So, nice map! Keep it up and consider a V2 with maybe a bit more time put into it to add that extra polished look! I hope to see more from you and your friends, Shikaze and Rackem!

Once again i appreciate your comment but how can you comment on its "sloppiness" if you havent downloaded it... ( i know... it has 0 DLS....) you people should really read the rules and notice that YOU MUST DL BEFORE YOU RATE... the map's "clutter" is sloppy, but its "CLUTTER" everything else was pretty planned... the destructable base is no more difficult to control than any other base. Although Aesthetics are not the the first thing you think of when viewing this map, it isnt something that deducts from it either... the aesthetics are actually nice in some spots... you really should DL before you rate...

Ok, this is to all the people saying it is sloppy.
Go download it before giving bad feedback such as that.
I am pretty sure he made it to look like that. If you can not tell, he interlocked it to look as it does. It is not meant to be perfect.
He wanted the cover to be scattered out such as it is. So please stop spamming this thread giving feedback such as it is sloppy. If it is sloppy and i am just wrong, then at least give him some good advice on how fix it and what you think he should do to it.

This is an amazingly good map post. The only thjing I don't like about the map is the unfairness. Some bases are extremely secure (hallway bases), and some aren't (centre base). Also, there is a huge lack of cover in the centre area. Warthogs probably aren't the best idea either. One at the most, really.

The map post is amazing, but the map is pretty bad gameplay-wise. If you made a version 2 and did a similarly awesome post then I'd be much more intersted. Try making some exposed elevated sections that aren't part of sny base, or some tighter corridors near blue base.

I see what your saying but from what we played it worked great! the hallway bases were rarely sought after and you really cant win by controlling just one base so your forced to run outside and hope for the best... And yes although the center is open, people are constantly rushing it making it an epic battle spot and it still seemed to play great... and warthogs were mainly for filler... but the kinda played cool too... you have to remember this is in casual... people should be having fun and laughing during this...

    Good work apples

Im not sayin' this just because I'm a friend of apples. But I played this map with 2 teams and zomg. We had a ton of fun. I gotta say, not quite as good as Holdout XD but still pretty good. I'm an addict for beautiful but useless maps :p 5/5 on Gameplay 4/5 on the map layout. I know it was supposed to look kind of sloppy but, you could've done better on the central base :p
