Heroic DLC Corrosive

    Description
    Corrosive is a medium sized, symmetric, all standard gametypes enabled map that resides on the Rat's Nest canvas. My goal with this map was to center the gameplay of Rat's Nest and, unfortunately, make less vehicle orientated map. I also wanted to create a map that would support a medium amount of players. I completed my goal by closing off the default sniper section of Rat's Nest, creating two arches near the cliff, removing the Warthogs, and a few other things.

    From my experience this map plays very smoothly with decent spawning and great weapon placement. However, this map defeats the purpose of utilizing the default sniper track of the map, besides the use of spawning there.

    Creation
    I began this project less than a week ago. When I nearly completed the original version, the "too many objects" message prevented me from continuing. Yes, I did my research and attempted every trick I read about, but I couldn't get around this obstruction. I then had to restart this entire project on an OLN of Rat's Nest (yes, apparently this did work on Rat's Nest; you just have to do it with objectives and spawns).

    I recreated the entire map as it was originally planned, using the OLN Rat's Nest I created, and then I began testing. The tests were very successful. After testing I only had to tweak minor disturbances in the map. I was now finished with Corrosive.

    Closing
    I appreciate all who helped make this map what it is. This includes testers who left helpful feedback, the people who assisted my forging, and even the people who accompanied me in parties while the map was in creation.

    dude, this map is sick nasty! you did things with rat's nest i didn't even think possible. With the lack of mergeable objects, creativity is really limited on that map. that being said, you where still able to completely change the layout of the game and turned it into a masterpiece. the merging with the boxes/openboxes looks amazing as well. 10/10 luls and a rofl for u good sir.

    I have to say this looks amazing, iv seen a few maps similar but don't acheive what you did, I'll dl play then comment back on it.

    Anyways.... onto the map, I love what you've done with rat's nest!
    Weapon placement seems on point, structures outside are sick, and gameplay definetely looks great 5/5 dude

    lol, sup bahh, i think i watched you forge some of this the other day, its R0FLninja, ya, the map looks sick, the interlocking is sick and the map looks cool.

    a weapons list might be nice tho

    This looks cool, but it doesnt seem like the gameplay would be much different from the original Rats nest. You blocked off the sniper spawn from the circular road and put 2 Double box pillars outside. This doesnt neccasarily make it bad though. What about weapon placement? is it the same or did you change it? It does seem like you achieved your goal of making this for a smaller party and no warthogs, which they got on my nerves anyways so thats a plus. The merges and the blocking off look clean but I cant give constructuve criticism till I play it. I would like to know from reading the post whether you changed the weapon layout or not. You should post that in the description. As far as what you did to the map, it looks good and you forge skill looks stupendous. Good job.
