Just realizing, searching through maps and threads that have different ratings, I noticed that some maps have either a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. I don't know if anyone looks at ratings through the some eyes as me, but I see a 5/5 as perfect. Meaning that the map is absolutely perfect and there is nothing that can be made that is better. I see a 4/5 as average. Then I see some good maps that have a 3/5. But the funny part is.. 3 divided by 5 is .60. Basically a 3/5 is failing? I don't get it? There really isn't a difference between 3/5, 2/5, 1/5, and 0/5. They are all failing. My point is that do people relize when they say, "nice map 5/5" they are saying, "This map was made by God, there is and will never be a better map. The layout is the best layout you will ever see and the interlocking is absolutely perfect, and there is no such thing as perfect interlocking, all good forgers not that. Plus when people say, nice map, I think I will give you a 3/5, they are basically saying, "Nice map, you fail." Discuss
I do not recommend rating the map in your post like "COOL MAP BRO 5/5" because 1. It is just filler to make your post look less like spam 2. It might make the maker sad, you flamed, or the maker happy even though there map is really bad. sig'd^
Yes sometimes I am surprised by my math as well lol Wow I did not know how funny that sounded untill I read it again. "Nice map your fail". Do you guys get my point though? I am not talking just rating maps, I am talking about life in general. For example, You tell me a joke, I give you a 3/5. I say nice joke it is funny, once again you fail?
5/5 = Outstanding work. 4/5 = Great job, but could be better. 3/5 = Average 2/5 = Poorly done, but basics are there. 1/5 = Piece of **** that has been eaten by dogs, crapped out, and put into a bio container because of high possibility of mutating.
