The searchbar is like Heretic, until actual gameplay footage of it surfaces I regard it as a myth.

 

This picture was actually posted here a few weeks ago. I'm pretty sure halopedia got it from the same place that the first guy who posted it got it from.

 

As others have said, always be sure to use the search bar. People like to flame people who post "old" stuff. It's not that big of a deal, but still.

Also, where have you been lately? There were about 20 threads about it on pretty much every Halo related forum. lol.

But anyways, I'm not going to get my hopes up for Heretic. Remakes just don't work well on Halo 3. The previous Halos are SO much different than Halo 3. Look at Blackout for example. Or Cold Storage. They just don't play the same as the originals. I'm not saying that they're bad, but don't expect Heretic to play exactly like Midship. That is why most players were disappointed with Blackout. They expected it to play exactly like Lockout did.

 

well if the map is exactly the same in dimension and size it will play like midship did exactly, we modded an AR into halo2 with the specifics from halo 1 and other weapons and played maps like midship and they worked well so hopefully it will work for halo 3, also i believe bungie has realized that blackout didn't work at all like they wanted and midship is a small map to begin with so why change it at all?
