I had about 14 people together at one time on this map playing infection and it was chaos. Huge battles across the map. If you're the alpha zombie, you have 500% health and 4X Overshields. I took down three hornets in a Banshee before I got missiled down. The downed AT-AT has a missile pod in it for the Imperials to take down the Hornets. I've also seen people hijack the hornets, which is actually quite funny to watch.

A great idea for this map would be to have VIPs, such as Skywalker and Vader, that are much more durable and light-footed than other soldiers. You would still get points for killing normal players, but more for the word-wielding VIPs. Just a thought.

How difficult is it for rebels to get into the AT-AT?

Like I said... this map is set up for all two-team game types. I just got done playing The Dark Forces and CTF on this map with about 14 people on infection and 4 vs 4 on CTF. On infection 2 of the 5 last men were in an AT-AT. A grav lift off the shuttle craft should get you on an AT-AT if you're on foot. Very easy if you're on a hornet.

Very nice, the AT-ATs look nice and it seems like some really hectic gameplay would come from this. The middle looks a little open though.

hoth, this is not hoth. hoth is snowy, not sandy

anyways. i like how how you actually built three atats and a complete base[howd you do that?]
and ive never seen an imperial shuttle before so 5/5 for originality

The middle is pretty open, but gets filled up with vehicles pretty fast. I'd have added more trenches, but budget killed me. The game does get pretty hectic very fast. It's pretty cool seeing 4 hornets taking on a wraith to start off the game. A good Darth Vader will neutralize those hornets fast and hopefully get a couple storm troopers pretty quick while firing in the hangar.

It's pretty funny, I just finished playing a round and it amazes me how stupid people are and how one sided zombie games are usually.
That's why I went with the Colorblind FX, so the sand wasn't tan... it was white and more resembled snow. Plus the footprints in sand translated well to footprints in snow.

The AT-ATs and shuttlecraft are pretty basic, but I wanted them so you can go inside the cockpits and body and make them usable for defensive purposes. Stormtroopers spawn inside AT-ATs and can drop from the bottom of them and assault the base or jump into the cockpit turrets. In order to have enough pieces, I downloaded a budget/item glitched map, which blocked off all but one guardian turret, so half of the hills are playable as well.

First of all i am a die hard Star Wars Fan!!!

Second i would make love to this map but its missing one thing. one very very very important thng....... Shield Generator!!!

whats a hoth battle without the shield generator?!??!!!?!

non the less im still gonna download and play this map, maybe ill make hot, sencual love to it if ure lucky, but probly not sense you dont have a shield generator.

I would also like to complement the awesome looking AT-Ats and the cleanly- forged rebel base but i do highly recomend adding in the shield generator. Maybe it could be the plant point for assault or something but u deffinitly should add it.

Lower right corner of the image is a small object. That's a makeshift shield generator using whatever pieces I had left. I also had used a kill ball and radio antennae in my original map to create an ion cannon, but the antennae kept falling down and it really served no purpose other than looks... so I deleted it for pieces to complete another shuttlecraft.

The shield generator is the place the imperials plant the bomb for assault games.

I'm a fan of Star Wars as well and remember seeing the first one in a drive-in theater when it first came out. There's no way I'd create a rebel base and Hoth without a shield generator... especially since that was the pivotal point in the battle. Just wish I had enough pieces for a rebel transport in the background.

I've toyed with the thought of doing Endor, but trying to figure out a way to pull off some of the Ewok traps. Plus I'd need a lot of columns to use as trees.

I've decided to try out something from another sci-fi series for my next map.

Seems like a really well thought out map! I love the idea of the trenches in front of the rebel base and the fact that you can actually go inside of the AT-ATs[I think that's what they're called]. DL and 5/5.

damn the item limit! it looks like you put alot of effort into this. you probably could have built more but...item limit. i will definantly check this one out and from the looks of it it looks like it is going to be a 4.5/5 gj.

    Thanks for the compliment.

Yeah... that item limit is really killing me on a lot of my new maps. I'm always thinking bigger than what is available. Had I more items, I would have added :
1.) Part of an Imperial Destroyer above so that the Tie Fighters had a hangar to come down from.
2.) More trenches... for both the Rebels and the Imperials.
    3.) An Ion Cannon
4.) A better Rebel shield generator
5.) Atgar cannons ( the ones that look like radars that the Rebels were using ) and cannon turrets for more cover.

Had to settle with what I had within the limit... but most everyone has had very positive feedback about what I had.
