i think you overdid the blending into the background too much. The background is also, IMO, too bland and just solid (I know it's not completely solid)
The sig itself is very nice, but it was then ruined by the border and the text. Get rid of both and choose a different rout on them. Perhaps no border at all and use black text.
orange is the focal.. not the guy. he exists because of that... i never played the game but thats what i am guessing. You know like Hitman.... the barcode thing.. & the Bland Comment: The stock was bland at the top (too white)
I know what you're thinking, but orange is a bright color that attracts ones attention. You have the orange as a border, so it's creating the opposite effect.
The text. Try a clipping mask and see how it turns out. I will love to see how it turns out. Nice chose of stock btw.
Border/text color could use change. There could be a bit less blending around his body, the background could be a little less bland, to say the least. Also, the lambda on his chest stands out a bit too much. See what you can do with that.
You know what, now thinking about I don' think it will turn out that great anyway because the character is centered. But ya get rid of the border and try to get the focus off the orange chest plate.
Does the focal always have to be the person? I was trying to make the orange be the focal. Again... If you have seen hitman... you would know he exists because of the barcode behind his head. Thats his identity. Thats what I tried to do here.
hmmm interesting concept. but the stock you have might not be the best to use for that kind of emphasis
I actaully like the blending for this concept because.. It shows that he would blend in with the rest of the world.. but that orange makes him stand out... you know what I mean?
Ya, I see where you're going with that, and it's deep and creative, but maybe a add some lighting to the orange to get the effect better
Not so much as make it brighter, but make it to where it looks like it's glowing a little to get your point across and to show that that's his "glowing" personality or w/e
Sort of, maybe add like an external orange white-ish glow (pretty insanely easy if you're on photoshop)
