The Blender gets its name because of all the sharp turns, bumpy roads, and insane jumps that will SHAKE YOU UP!!! Hmmm... anyway... here's the evidence... The Blender and here's the proof... The Blender in all it's glory!! HAVE FUN, YOU CRAZY KIDS!! (this works with any gametype, but preferebly Slayer, and can only have 10 people at a time on the map!) To see my other maps, go to this forum: My Map Gallery
This is not bad for first racetrack. It looks more like a driving test than a racetrack, I guess it's just me. Also include more pictures. For just one picture 7/10
Trust me when I say, when you play it, it definitely will feel more like a race. There are 7 Mongooses (I can't fit anymore, sorry.), and there are stations where you can act as obstacles, like a Plasma Cannon, Energy Sword, Power Drain, and Rockets. You can either race or kill, a good variety, I'd say.
It looks awesome, but I have a small compliment. Have you set it up for the official RACETRACKS Game-Type?
Dang, this looks pretty fun to race on I like how many jumps and cool turns there are! There are a few problems though. It dosen't look well peiced together whatsoever and I saw very little interlocking, if any it was quite sloppy. I suppose for your first racetrack it is adequate but I would sudgest intelocking a bit more and creating nice smoth banked turns or dips, they look much better. The extra scenery I see spices it up, so I suppose for an overall rating, it is 3/5
It doesn't really matter what gametype you play it on because the spawn points are all the same, but I prefer basic Slayer (Teams optional), & have everyone invincible/ friendly fire off so no one kills you for the Mongooses at the very start if there is overcrowding of players(I have dozens of friends who would do this.). Remember, there are only seven (7) Mongooses, so 7-14 people is recommended.
Honestly in a few parts it looks like mongooses cant make it. Also a bit sloppy, but I can understand since its a race/slayer map. I have yet to download so I will now and look at it later.
I agree with Taco King, to be honest, all Racetracks shoudl be able to work with the RACETRACKS game variant.
This looks good for a first race map but nothing looks interlocked and the turns look quite sloppy and probably aren't the best to ride on because of it... Learn to interlock... but very good for a first map everything is double wide =)
Have you even tried it yet? I have played The Blender nearly 20 times, and it is a very smooth, laid-out course, especially the jumps: smoothest landings you will ever have on a racetrack. Also, it does support the RACETRACKS gametype. It supports any gametype! Try it, & you'll see!
The hardest jump is after the U-turn in the beginning. But it doesn't support Racetracks well. The VIP destination is in the Crypt. There are no laps to be scored. It doesn't seem like it was built specifically to have "bumpy roads"... it seems like that's just how the map turned out. It's a fun design to race on, but I found myself falling off or flipping over the same few jumps/turns. Those could use an extra small wedge somewhere, or something.
That's what makes the track more interesting: it's the challenge! It's certainly the most difficult course I've ever played on. I find myself falling off a lot, but that's because it's hard, not because it's poorly built. It's a thinking track; you've got to think before you move. For example, to get past the first bank turn jump, you must go full throttle the whole time. As you're making the turn, don't slow down, make a sharp turn, but not too sharp where you spin out. If you'd like to try the course & learn the ropes, message my account on Xbox LIVE (VIEW PROFILE) & I'll teach you the tricks behind The Blender. *(How does the RACETRACKS gametype work? I'll fix it up so it will actually support it.)*
Hi Hurricane! I think I remembered playing on this map. If it is, then the jump after the starting point was awesome. If you could just put a grav-lift or man cannon (I know you use all the budget on your maps) so you could at least clear the jump w/o going full speed.
I would, but: I reached the item limit, yes. Man Cannons make you go too fast, & you're likely to hit your head or completely miss the track. Grav Lifts slow you down, not make you go faster. Sorry, but you're going to have to do it with no help.
In a way, you're right. It is a true test of how skilled a driver/racer you really are. I've said it before, & I'll say it again with pride; it's one of the hardest racetracks I've ever played on (& it's my own map, so that says something.)
Hey, is modded content allowed on forge hub? Oh, yeah, so um I have a map that is simply amazing. I will post it shortly. And for those of you interested, i will be giving away recon for free if you send me a friend request. You will get it in 5 days. Also, coming soon, assassin armor. Helmet: 2400 microsoft points. The rest: 1600 microsoft points. But dont send me them yet. First send me the request. The recon thing is for little kids who just want to have it, or for people who just want all the armor. PS: Recon will only be given to the first 5 people who send me the request. And I can also take it away. For those noob non-members of forge hub, you can see what assassin armor is at youtube. Thanks for reading.
Alright, three things: No modded content allowed. Don't advertise YOUR maps in MY forum. That's against the rules of Forge Hub. That free RECON stuff is a load of garbage. If anyone still believes that stuff, you're truly braindead. You don't ever post stuff like this on Forge Hub without being punished.
It looks good and fun. Sometimes maps don't have to be smooth to have fun with them. Banked corners look better than mine do (I suck at making corners). 8/11 for the fun and effort. I would set it up for the Racetracks game-type though if you haven't already.
