Hello.I am MLG Venom and am making an infection map on "Sandbox".I need some infection help from you guys. And please do not give me the link to that thread about infection making...here it is if you want to see some info...here.I think that I want this map should be very scary...like yo never know what will happen next, that kind of thrill. Many people try to avoid interlocking on Sandbox, well it still shows in gameplay.

Just post some ideas or if you want to forge with me then here is my gamertag: XSn1p3 X0utX ...Ok.So post your gamertag and we could brainstorm, forge some things,or just play some custom games an come up with great ideas.I will post updates here.If you have ideas then that is nice, but please do not spam the thread.Just visitor message each other.

Lets review:Don't spam,gt is XSn1p3 X0utX,post ideas that are are reasonable,or moderate.Ok so post away...

Really, there are only two types of "scary" in Infection.
The first is surprise. This can be done easily by blocking a player's line-of-sight, and turning off radar. If you go for this feel, you might also give the zombies increased movement, so they can drop down and stuff.
The second is the "oh ****" feel, like you get in L4D. While a situation might not be "scary" as in surprise or horror, it is when you face very hard odds, and you know it. To do this, make a boss zombie/enemy. Make sure they are very visible, and have something more than just an energy sword or gravity hammer. When the players see the zombie, they have to know what's coming, otherwise the fear is lost.
The suggestion to review Help's on the Way is actually a good one. It has both limited line of sight, producing surprise, and the Gridnaught, creating the aforementioned "oh ****." While I don't advocate just stealing the entire outline, take some cues, like HOW they limited your movement or sight, or why the Gridnaught worked, and didn't just bowl over the humans.

Thanks dude.Actually I thing the "oh crap" feel is better because it gives you a feeling that like you never know what will happen.
