    "The Infected have drove the Survivors to a strange & derelict temple...
    The fight for Survival begins..."

    Last Stand!

    Last Stand takes place on Sandbox. Survivors take point on a derelict temple, fighting off zombies as they try to infect the survivors. Zombies can come from all around you and co-opearation is the only chance of survival. Weapons can be found in the temple. Endurance will be rewarded as a Hornet spawns if you survive long enough. However you'll have to work out how to get to it, before the zombies to get you.

    I've updated the Gametype & Map, fixing an Hornet spawning bug. Aswell as additional gameplay changes and more spawn points for the zombies.
    I've also added more screenshots.​

    go to haloscreenshots.net give it your gt wait a couple minutes while it loads your pics clickon the ones you want to embed theyll be a few links at the bottom one will say forge hub copy paste it to ur thread and you have embedded screenshots

    hey thats spam you know madcow..... map wise it looks good but is there any vehicles guess i have to wait for the other pics though but from that one picture it looks pretty good.

    It's basically Insta-Kill, as far I as recall the Zombies don't have shields. BR to the head will stop them dead in there tracks.

    An Hornet spawns after 180 secs, However its on the roof and requires an Grav-Lift to get to, which is hidden in zombie terrority. It gives survivors something to work towards.

    In a Nutshell: Half of the players spawn as zombies and the other half humans. The Humans basically need to hold out in the temple. A Battle Rifle, Shotgun, Sentinal Beam, Spartan Laser & Swords spawn inside the temple. If you survive for 2 minutes an Hornet (Snow Version) will spawn on the roof of the temple. If you want to get to it you need to find a grav-lift on the outside. I'm still debating with myself whether to swap the Hornet for an Warthog. For balancing purposes, Or end the round at three mins so the zombies arern't sitting round. Watching the Hornet own for very long.

    Your wish is my command. I've just added 3 more Screenshots. I'll be making more of the inside today.

    That alone is a download killer. If you're gonna create an infection game type, never make zombies instant kill or one hit kills with anything other than a shotgun.
    1.) Imagine being in the zombies shoes... people will quit.
    2.) It takes no skill.

    If zombies are instant kills, then it's gonna be a lot easier to get than you think. Also, what happens when humans get in the hornet? They fly off and zombies can't get to them, right?

    The proportion is good. Hopefully the humans don't have unlimited ammo, then.

    If you're gonna have a hornet, then you best put in a time limit, because once humans get in that hornet... it's just a spawn killing fest. A warthog would be better, maybe a gauss warthog so people actually have to aim. You already put in a MG turret facing the zombie spawn area of the temple, which makes it heavily one sided for the humans. I'd remove that and make humans actually aim and reload to give zombies a sliver of hope.

    I have to say, the first thing that came to mind when I finished reading the intro- That hornet is going to be so overpowered. I read what you put about how to get to the hornet, but, still, if the humans get to that how are the zombies going to kill them?

    Anyways, aside from the, this map looks really quite good - I like the derelict temple alot, I don't see much merging, ( It's either not clear or i'm just not looking in the right places. ) ( Probably the latter. ) At first I thought it looked quite small, but now I've seen the other screenshots it looks like theres a nice big space there...

    This brings me onto my next question - What happens if you jump down into the crypt from inside the temple, because there don't seem to be any pictures of whats actually down there. And, moving on from that, do the zombies have much of a chance to get to the temple before getting killed by the humans?

    At the moment i'm giving it a 3/5, because I havn't played it, ( I dont actually have my xbox at the moment because i'm on holiday. ) But if you answer my questions i'll be sure to consider downloading.

    The Game doesn't has Insta-Kill. The Zombies haven't got Shields but it ain't insta-kill. So they have a chance, Plus Alpha Zombies have full shields but on decay. But I do understand the point your making as I only know too well about the annoynance of Insta-Kill

    You need a Grav-Lift to get to the Hornet which is on the outside hidden behind cover. The Hornet spawns 2 minutes into the round and the round is only 3 minutes long. So players won't be in the Hornet for very long.



    Errrr.... They do :p

    Zombies will spawn all around the Temple, There won't really be a Spawn Killing fest as there are many spawns which are seperate from eachother. The Turrets aren't unbalanced.


    - As I said in the last post, The Hornet and Grav-Lift spawn 2 minutes into a 3 minute round. So the humans won't be spending long in the Hornet. As for what is at the bottom of the chute to the crypt. A Good Ol' KillBall :p I dunno why I put it there, punishes curiosity. The Zombies spawn in different areas around the level so they should be able to make it to the temple undetected. The Normal Zombies are also black so they blend in with the dark enviroment. I appreciate all of your feedback aswell, Helps me rethink things and improve my maps.

    Also based on your feedback I'll make the zombies a bit stronger. To stop camping and frustration.
