Public Assembly This, as the title suggests, is Public Assembly. For those of you who have played Resident Evil 5, this is a piece for piece remake of the crescendo at the end of the first Chapter. First of all, the Game Type. Much like the game it's based off of, it's Infection. The game will start off with the Executioner(Alpha Zombie) locked up w/a random survivor. This was made primarily for balance issues in gameplay as the Cage should be locked up for a little bit, leaving the other survivors with nothing to do. The Executioner is extremely beefed up in terms of Dam. Resistance, so the random survivor should die within a few blows turning him into a regular zombie. This should give the remaining survivors something to deal with until the Alpha Zombie is released. Here's how the Game Type is set up: General Settings Initial Zombie Count-1 Zombie Kills- 10pts Infected Kills- 10pts Last Man Standing- 5pts Suicide- 5pts DEDUCTED Betrayal- 10pts DEDUCTED Next Zombie- RANDOM Rounds- 5 Respawn Time- 5 sec Suicide R.Time- 10 sec Betrayal R.time- 15 sec Zombie Traits Damage Resistance- 150% Normal Shields No Recharge Damage- 125% Primary Weapon- E. Sword Ammo- Unlimited Speed- 90% Gravity- 200% Sensors- Enhanced Mode/150m Waypoint- Visible to Allies Alpha Zombie(Executioner) Traits Damage Resistance- 2000% No Sheilds Immune to Headshots Damage- 300% Primary Weapon- Gravity Hammer Ammo- Unlimited Speed- 75% Gravity- 200% Sensor- Enhanced Mode/150m Waypoint- Visible to Allies Survivor Traits Primary Weapon- Magnum Secondary Weapon- E.Sword Damage Resistance- 1000% Normal Shields Recharge- 50% Slower Damage-75% Speed- Normal Gravity- 200% Sensors- Normal settings Pictures Survivor Spawn Points Pre-pWned Survivor is completely oblivious Oh Nooz! Wez been spotted! Oh hey, it's cool though he can't get out That makeshift barricade 'll only keep em back for so long Pre-pWned Survivor makes a triumphant return as post-pWned Zombay! Shazam! (Hole in roof provides an extra route for when door is blocked) That's gonna happen after a minute or so That too.. Item Locations w/Pics Building 1 -2 Frags -2 Fire Bombs -1 Flare Building 2 -1 Regenerator -2 Fire Bombs -1 Shotgun Also: -1 Battle Rifle to the right of the large gate by Building 2 Note: If you get the hang of how things work, there are different parts of the environment that can be used to your advantage. I probably won't download cause im not a big fan of these kind of maps. its not YOUR map just these kind in general. forge wise it looks pretty good. nice first post. i dont have any criticism right now cause i haven't played it but good luck!
Why wont you download it? It looks like a very good thought out map. Dont dismiss it just because it not your type of thing. Anyways - this loks like a very fun map to play! DL for me. 4/5.
Well, my question is did you copy RE5 enough to add in a crappy movement system, over cluttered maps, and bad gameplay! No, BAD ARVAS! STOP INSULTING GAMES! Well, looks pretty fun, I might DL to make my friends stop playing that damn game...
Thanks for what seems to be generally positive feedback so far. I just got the new maps and thought I might work on an infection map that requires the players to survive long enough to reach a hornet-type evac at the end of the level. It would probably be made in the sky bubble for boundary issues.
Update There have been several minor edits with the map since I first posted it so I'd just like to add that this version isn't the final product but generally speaking it's still good.
