I have only noticed sigs in the Graphics and Arts forum so I think people may be scared or just don't know that they can post photography here. This thread is for discussing others pictures or posting pictures you have taken. I will post my favorite pictures I have taken. Feel free to discuss them or post your own pictures in this thread.

Whisper, don't be a jerk. Seriously, this is the first photography thread that I've seen in quite a while here. I'll play along with some recent photos of mine:

I really like the 4th one. Is that a panorama and where did you take it?

Yeah, it's a panorama stitched from three photos, taken at Manzanita Lake, California, in Lassen National Park. The whole lake was frozen solid; pretty freakin' cool.

Sick stuff, DocMan. And I'm not being a jerk. Thread's like this are redundant. This is a graphics and arts section for a reason.

I hate you two, with your being able to go places so you can get better shots. I have to hop fences and take pictures of fields. I mean seriously India!

I've posted most of the pictures I've taken already, so I'm just re-posting some of my favorites.

I am saying it IS art, and therefore, falls under the heading of this section, and therefore, just like signatures, photography doesn't need its own thread.

They may not be in far away places but I really like the angles you did with the second and fourth. Better then mine by far!

Thanks, I just envy your traveling. Everyone says I take pretty good pictures, and I'm surprised since I just started about a month ago.

The fourth one is very good; love the focus and angle.
