Congrats Cosmic! I would have been amazed if this wasn't featured. I can't even comprehend how difficult the merges on this map were. The current attackers base is over 9000 times better than the original and I'm glad you took the time to rework the entire base. Congrats.
Ah, the first featured Sandbox map on Forgehub I believe. Congrats, Cosmic. Although I'm still getting used to the look of the Sandbox items. No offence, but every map overview shot of a Sandbox map looks like a mess to me. I'll suck it up and download this though. Well done once again Cosmic.
I must say that this map is really amazing! Congrats on the feature Cosmic. The geomerging looks fantastic and so does the whole layout. Definatly one of the best Sandbox maps i've seen. 5/5 and you've got my download for sure! Great job
Jesus. At this rate, they're just going to have to come up with another rank past Architect for Cosmic. Maybe Engineer? The map overall is pretty fun, but I don't like the attacker's base all that much. It's too small and there's not much to walk on. Other than that, the map is top-notch.
I barely got the mythics but this is the 2nd map I checked out and it is definitly epic. That base merged into the sand is so epic, its like it was part of the sandbox canvass. This is definitly worth the Feature. Its so good that I want to DL it, erase it, and DL again 20 times just to give you that many more DLs. J/K, LOL. Great job.
I've been waiting for the release of Mythic for this map to get the feature. Freaking great map, man.
I am very happy and not at all surprised to see this as the first sandbox feature. I am pretty sure that this was one of the first maps I downlaoded back in march and it is still the best. Congrats and it's nice to see more people downloading this map!
This is no suprise to me. Its ironic because SweenyTodd, me, and some others were playing this just today. Great map with insane 1-flag gameplay and excellently forged.
Congrats Cosmic! We saw this one coming! I love the new version's looks, and can't wait to check 'em out! To bad I have to go eat tacos right now.. By the way, what structure is that in the first picture? I don't recognize it!
lol. I think he has that rank... irl. But yeah, way to go Chunky. This is just a fun map, as simple as that. Another notch in the pistola.
Don't you get notches on pistolas for killing people (specifically early 20th century Texans)? And yes, accredited engineer FTW... as soon as I pass that stupid test. Anyway, thanks, guys. Hopefully this'll be the last version, and I've got my fingers crossed for ATLAS, but not my breath held. Unfortunately, you guys have finally broken me. I'm no longer responding to that type of message (I really tried to keep up with them, but I can't). Check out Forgehub.com for their forging 101 section!
Hey, Rick, you should try get this map into MM. This thing plays perfectly. I like the fact that you have an equal balance between vehicles and power weapons.... This deserves a feature and should be given an award or something...Bungie Favs?
Utah Mambo, the first ever featured Sandbox map on Forge hub...what an achievement. My favorite Sandbox map as well. Every aspect of this is simply flawless. Need I say more? Congrats on such an honor.
I havent had the opportunity to play on this yet, however, from the pictures/videos, my only complaint is the attacker base with all of the wood parts. They seem a little out of place and somewhat "dirty" to me. However, I am still glad to finally see an epic big team map.
I hope Cosmic reads this, lol. Be sure that you have the latest version of the map BTW, because the original base felt a bit grungy to me as well. The new one is streamlined and sexy as ever.
All in all a great map, deserved to be featured. I wonder how many foundry maps will be featured now that we've officially started featuring sandbox ones.
Hey! I love wood! You can quote me on that (in and out of context, I don't care). And if you're talking about the less-than straight interlocks and such on the wood, that's because the visual parts of the wood don't match up with the tangible parts of the wood. Everything's straight from a walking-on perspective. Why the pieces are made to look crooked when they're actually straight, I'll never know...
