    Its looks good, and i like how you put the items in the sand. But some of the items look too much like you put them in random places.

    Yea I understand that Thats pretty much because I did put them in random places lol.
    My friend was making this horrible crap map and I started building that sniper tower fountain on it then i deleted his little house thing and took over. Despite the randomness the map plays very well and has an addicting fun aspect to it. I would really like to get a group together to play some territories and stuff on it.

    By nasty you mean buck nasty but really though if you downloaded this map before March 31 then you really should re download it because there were some minor yet serious mistakes what i mean by that is an instant repspawning bubble shield and 1 guardian turret was still blocked
    In addition to fixing the big problems i adjusted spawns on some weapons.

    this map is superb! The broken pillars look realistic and everything's laid out perfectly. I swear this map looks as if it was made by bungie themselves. that fountain reminds me of the covenant sniper tower. Great job!

    I am really not seeing the flow to this map, just look like a bunch of individual structures that look great on their own however, when the map is taken all together it just seems random.

    Very original. I like all the structures, and it really is a lot of fun trying to make things out of stuff people wouldn't expect...huh? anyways....

    Architecture=5/5
    Gameplay=undeterminded yet...

    Okay, I've got to give my thoughts on this.

    At first glance it looks really good, then once you start to think about it the map becomes very random, with no flow.

    I'm not here to lecture you rather I'm going to give you some tips on how to decrease randomness and increase flow:

    1. Before you make a map, think about what your going to build. Don't load up a canvas and just randomly start making something. Try to have a back bone and work from there.

    2. Next, make your bases. Starting off with your bases when building is a great strategy for tackling maps. Don't make them over complicated, don't make 5 entry into the bases, make them simple and fun. Making your bases first allows you to design around them and it makes the over all feel better.

    3. Think " Is this is a bungie map? " think about things that are on bungie maps and how they play, like guardian with its four bases, and center platform. All of bungie's maps have a landmark so to speak: Last Resort = wheel, Valhalla = bases, Black out = helicopter pad etc. Try to make your map a bungie feel.

    4. Don't randomly put objects down. Putting an object down is harder than you think, you need to place it and then physically play on it and see how it plays. If it plays bad then delete it and try again, if it plays good then keep it. Also keep in mind the flow of things, like if you have two structures, try adding a bridge between them, this will also improve flow.

    5. Another really good thing is to do is to physically draw your map out with pen and paper, if you do this your almost sure to get good results. Drawing it out allows you to forge quicker and picture the map out before its even built.

    I hope not only you read this, but others too. Shock did the same thing for me and I haven't forged the same since. If you follow those 5 simple steps, your map will be magnificent.

    You have skill, your technique is perfect and you can come up with great structures, now if you couple string it all together and get good gameplay, I'm sure I'd be seeing you with a maroon name.

    OMG lol it wasnt that bad, i just didnt like the way the house was looking, so i stopped trying, and besides, i deleted the house because i felt it didnt match the fountain, which was turning into the main focus of the map. Anyways, i love the way it turned out, you did an amazing job. Glad i could help with ideas n such
    P.S. Sorry about dropping that territory by the guardian, but in my defence i was totally in a safe area, i have no idea why it shot me

    Wow. Very interesting map. I usually hate the "random" items scattered around but this is great. It doesn't just look fun to play on it looks like it has amazing aesthetics. I especially like the fountain. Great merging 5/5

    Yea ok sure i know you wernt trying on the house but still. And im pretty sure the guardians just hate you because they kept shooting you in the sky box in stuff but they wouldn't shoot me it was so funny and angering

    Probaly 2 weeks but it was spring breaks so it only took like 3 days but there were many many hours put in per day

    Yep "random" kinda became the theme for this map it was our first sandbox map and we had no idea what we wanted to do anways.
    Thanks glad you liked it.

    This may have been said before but I had somewhat of a hard time using the fountain i had to try several times to get up there and i usually got killed and T-bagged before i could get the landing right. That being said the fountain is a really original/cool idea I just wish it was a little more user friendly. While the map is a bit chaotic it has a lot of potential. It does provide some great opportunities for epic vehicle battles. I'm a big fan of vehicle battles. Unfortunatly I dont really think that the community here at forgehub.com likes big maps like this, They tend to prefer 1v1 or 2v2 maps. Don't let that discourage you from making large maps though, as there are players out there like me that love them. Final thought from me is i loved the map but it needs a bit more orginization.

    Ok ok thanks Im not really one to make small maps just not good at it but i can see what you mean with the fountain but once you are familar with the fountain you can get it easy all the time A tip you can try is looking straight up through the middle of the tower and then throw the regenerater or you can aim for that plasma thing in the middle of the stone platform.
    I do think it did not start very orgainized but it is tons of fun for free for all also

    Edit:
    * Also i found out earlier that a grav lift could be used as well to get up there
