Exactly. You can tell who the airsoft noobs are because they always over estimate the FPS of their gun and think that is the only thing that matters...
Yay, my ICS m4 finally arrived. Pic: It's a sexeh gun I tell you, completely solid no creaks thought the mag does wobble a little.
Lol, I think we're thinking the same person. Anyways everytime I see that video of Matt I laugh, it must have hurt a lot but the way he moves is just hilarious.
I have an Echo 1 MP5A5 I got it from AirsoftGI.com for $115 it clocks in at 360 FPS its plastic, but I perfer that to metal, because its lighter and i take care of my guns so I don't have to worry about them breaking becuase of they're body. I don't have any pictures but I do have a video review I did on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYtPPF4dnF8&feature=channel_page If you're looking for a low price gun that isn't **** then I recommend this gun.
If you prefer plastic thats fine. But personally, I prefer metal. I want to know that I can drop my gun and the most that will happen is a scratch or something small... Unfortunately, the XM8 is an almost entirely plastic design... Slashe, how's the M4?
It's amazing, everything's metal except for the handguards, pistol grip, and stock but they are all nicely textured polymers. It weighs in at about 6 or 7 pounds, about half a pound heavier than the real steel. Nothing wobbles except for the sling mounts which are supposed to move and also the mag but a little electrical tape fixes that. Funny thing is that listed on airsoftgi its 300 fps but for some reason in the paper that they chrono with before they ship it it says it's 400 fps. Wierd, plus the pin that you push out to open the gun has little scratch marks on it like somebody opened it up and put in the new spring. My friends still thing I have a shotgun but over the weekend I'm going to kill them all. The two piece gearbox is also pretty cool like the systema PTW's I can swap out the upper gearbox in under 30 seconds. I might get some more pics up later.
I'm so jealous of you... I wish I had an M4 like that... So I'm probably getting my KJW M9 in 2 weeks. I'll let you know what happens with that... Post some more pics and vid Slashe!
I ordered my metal gear box, Here Here are some pictures of my gun and Camoflaug's . Mine is the G3, Camoflaug's is the M4 Oh and for any people wondering about where we play...
Crap place we airsoft at, only cover is trees and bushes and is very small. It's like a small reservoir kinda not really, there's a trench to the left and small hills on the right. We have a small place but usually only have about 8 people playing at a time. I'll probably have the pics up by tomorrow because it's too dark right now.
Alright, so I just bought a new tightbore, hop-up, and new battery. Should have them by Tuesday!! Barrel: Mad Bull 6.03mm Tightbore Barrel - 363mm - $35.00 : Airsoft Parts Canada, www.airsoftparts.ca Hop-up: Guarder Clear Hop-up Set - $8.00 : Airsoft Parts Canada, www.airsoftparts.ca Shitty Battery: 8.4v 1200mAh NiMH Battery with Mini Tamiya connector for Tokyo Marui Electric Rifles. AIRSOFT ACCESSORIES. I plan on getting an Intellect soon. But this will do until then seeing as I've been borrowing Bl00D F1R3's for the past month and a half...
I got the Full Metal version...sadly it broke a year later, but that's when I started learning more about taking apart guns and other stuff.
Hey guess what, my piston's first tooth that comes into contact with the sector gear just broke because my dumb so called "friend" sneaked off with it when I wasn't looking and did something. O well, that gives me room for upgrades so I just ordered an Element high speed gear set with piston and shims from RSOV.com Heard that if you were lucky they would be the best upgrades for the price $20. Sorry I couldn't get any new pics or pictures, camera battery went out and lost the charger
My battery, barrel, and hop-up rubber should be here on Tuesday!! I'll let you guys know how they are.
Are you planning on getting an H nub or no? They basically work the same way as firefly buckings do with the two point contact thing so it's more consistent. Oh and if you get a battery get a custom one with ELITE cells from cheapbatterypacks.com, They're much higher quality than intellects which tend to die easily and are only about 5 usd more expensive.
