OK sorry about my first post, I was a little too hard on you, If you like I will help you make an improved V2. I'm working on the new one, help would be much appreciated! =) I think, that there needs to be more floor space for the zombies, as there is nowhere to hide while they are advancing, also I think your lights were a slightly pointless idea, they look good though. But yeah, I think it still needs work.
Yay he took into consideration and showed us the tunnel very smile face sept from some pics it looks kinda sloppy...... and once again i hope you make TWO sides to the spawning for the zombs that would just make me day
Well the zombies do spawn from several angles but I'll take a pic in forge so you can see them. I really think you should play on it before you judge it =)
nice map, i've played nacht der untoten before, and i must say it is pretty well-created, but there are some parts where you largely missed out. zombies go through a window, not a crack in the floor. you should make it like that in v2, if your goal is to create a more realistic recreation. i can't really tell how good the building layout itself is compared to the original. it looks like you screwed up the second floor. and also, where is the cabinet? and where is the random weapon box? lastly, is there still a crack in the wall that nazis can break through?
this map doesnt look all that fun when i compare it to spazmonkey92's version of this map he actually bothered to give the top layer a roof and your gameplay doesnt really compare to his because even if you think that the humans shouldnt go outside, why not? why not male them a tittle bit stronger and not instant kill to make sure everyone works together. but anyways other than that his layout is just much better
I'm not quite sure what crack in the floor you're talking about... =/ I am working on a V2 right now and I'm considering that the zombies have to crouch in order to get into the windows in the house, but I'm not so sure if I want to do this because I think it might make it less fun for the zombies. No one likes to crouch that much to enter the main area. I'm also fixing the upper level of the house. So far I have smoothed some bumps in the floor and I repositioned some of the barricades to increase the probability that they'll open all the time without the zombies being able to open them themselves. I cutt off some other things like a column poking out of the house as well as that half door on the second level and replaced them with other objects to make it more presentable. Well I couldn't really make a cabinet, but the sniper is in that area behind a box in the place it's supposed to be in, opposing the shotgun in the upper floor. You just have to look a little to find it. =] It's in the HELP room. I have three weapons that spawn intermittently and it takes about three minutes for all of them to appear. If you're talking about the wall that's in the HELP room in CoD, then yes. I put pallets there and a barricade and the zombies have to crouch through the wall to get in. By the way guys when Bungie releases the "Render-to-Video" feature I'm going to make a sweet trailer for the Nacht Der Unto7en V2. I already have a concept board and song ready for it. Thanks for your support.
Well as always, I suggest players actually play the maps before judging their gameplay. I didn't give the first room a roof because the humans would be able to jump on it right now and beat the crap out of the zombies, and a roof in that room does not have any value anyways. Also, they're not instantly killed, so I don't know where you got that from. Also, my map absolutely encourages teamwork as there is limited ammo and you can actually choose which doors to open in my map, a feature not included in his.
I never did like "Axis" Zombies on CoD: WaW. But this seems fantastic. I don't know why. It just does.
This map looks fantastic. I have never played **** Zombies, but I hear it is fun. This looks much better than playing a zombie game in CoD:WaW, I like that you made it floating so that spawn camping is lessened. You got my DL, and once my friends get Mythic we will play and I will try and get back with a rating. Until then keep forging!
omg holy crap, I love **** Zombies I am so going to play this everytime I play halo 3. Amazing idea, you perfected it for halo 3. I love this it is even sometimes better than CoD:WaW (5). Could you make the assembly **** Zombie.
Oh. =] Well, technically they do come through open holes in walls of your building, but they have to move over sand bags to get in. I'm replacing my small ramps with larger wedges for my V2 so the zombies have to crouch to get inside. It's working out pretty well.
there are a few things you should change: give zombies PP's only. this means they cant come from across a room and lunge killing you instantly, but instead they are forced to get up close and try to beat you down. it should also be so zombies have to hit th ehumans 3 times to kill them. consider putting more weapons too, especially in random wep box.
I really feel like the plasma pistols will make the humans overpowered. It also wouldn't look nearly as cool aesthetically.
I'd really like to do that on Sandbox. Only problem with that is I haven't actually played Verruckt yet =/. Hopefully I'll play it with one of my friends soon. If I do make it, it would probably release a month after my V2 of Nacht Der Unto7en. Thanks.
looks good, i could see the similarities in the rooms. if you're making a V2 i'd reccomend putting it on the ground and adding a roof to make sure the humans can't get out - it'd just make it much more realistic. fun game though =)
