I know most of you do not want to see any more remakes, but here is mine, sorry in advance because this my first post.

This is a throw back to Hang Em High from Halo CE, while not exact it is very close and offers great game play. Unlike a lot of maps you find this is set up for all game types, it also has budget left over to customize or delete all weapons and have a large budget to customize it's set up.

This is on the new Map Sandbox set in the crypt, although the crypt is a little smaller than what I wanted I had to shrink the bases it still has a great feel and is more proportionate than other remake maps I have played. Although this map would not be good for infection style games with a little tweaking it could be made into a good infection map. Slayer, CTF and Assault game types is this maps strong suits while VIP, Juggernaut and Territories are fun games due to the maps smaller size.

I am in this to learn, if there is any other methods I should use, spawn points, weapons please speak up I am rather new to forge and want to learn.

I have not played Hang em high, so I cannot comment on the accuracy of the remake. However, It looks like there is such little cover in the map. Both vertical and horizontal. As if once you get on top, you can simply look down and dominate the map. And from what I can see, There are 3 powerups, which I think is a little much. Even if you create a remake I would suggest editing it to better suit gameplay.

Actually the overhead walk ways add great cover from above and the columns provide cover from floor level. The original had three power ups but I have thought of deleting one of them because shield differences in Halo CE and Halo 3. Here is a picture of the original Hang Em High from Halo CE (this is the PC version I know)

Checked it out in Forge, what the hell were you thinking with the placement of the weapons and powerups? This is the most innaccurate remake that we've had so far. The geometry is all slightly wrong as well. Good effort, but try again.

It is not a remake, I was only going for a throwback, however the powerups are all correct but yes the weapons are way off. Thanks for looking, what would you suggest I do different, I am looking for suggestions and criticisms not just "ur map suckz" I am bad at placing weapons and powerups, so what would you change, like I said I just want to learn, I know it sucks this is my first major attempt at a map.

Thank you though for taking the time to look at my map, would love to forge some time with someone who knows what they are doing, my friends list is pretty bare in that department.

The best way to place weapons on a map is to emulate the weapon placement on an already existing map. Lucky for you your map has already been made. Start with the weapon placement of the original, then make some adjustment for equipment and such.

Thanks for the suggestion, I am going to go plop Halo CE in this afternoon and take a jog around Hang Em High.

Also is it ok to have more BR's laying around due to their non existence in Halo CE and the fact everyone likes them, take Valhalla for instance, loads of BR's laying around.

Yes, that would certainly be a good idea.

Ok Issues, weapons are completely different in H1 than H3, there is mainly shotguns and plasma rifles. So how you compensate? BR's instead? Spawns and weapon placements are my downfall, any guidance would be helpful.

This map looks good but its just not a good remake of the map. I see little things in common...

Does anyone else notice that if u took everything out of the Hang'em High map from Halo CE and compared it to the Crypt, that they would seem almost exactly the same, the size and even the shape of the walls are similar. Bungie's insparation for the Crypt in Sandbox?

Yep the shape seems to be the same, of course from the huge holes in the wall to allow sunlight in, however it is smaller, tried on my first attempt to build the bases larger to spec and that was a no go not enough room.
