How To Make Walls Stay Straight After S&Q *SandBox Mostly* Lots of people complain about the walls tilting at random after a save and quit. Most people agree that this can't be 100% fixed, let alone at all. Anyway, I just wanted to say this. You Can Make Walls Stay Straight After S & Q. (Maybe?) After more testing I dunno anymore. It worked for one map, and not for the other. Try it, if it doesn't work, then sadface. Oh well. Just disconnect from Xbox Live. Unplug whatever cable keeps you online. Finish the map offline, and save as often as needed. When it's done, plug your cable in again. Never touch it in Forge Online if you plan to save.
Yes, and I'm not sure why. Live lags maybe? Well, it's worked for me anyway, I haven't extensively tested, but I made one map and did one save and quit test and it worked throughout both. Try it yourself and find out to be sure, reply with your results.
Seriously?! Great find! I wonder why that works though. I guess it has something to do with lag... but I'm no networking guy so I have no idea. Did you post this in Mastar's Sandbox Tips & Tricks thread?
just going into LOCAL does NOT help at ALL. You actually have to disconnect. Pull out whatever cable keeps you online. Again, just switching to local does not help, you need to be disconnected, kinda like the internet is down.
Wow great find, this will help with any sandbox maps that anyone makes form now on. You should write a forging 101 so this thread doesn't get lost. seriously someone give this man a cookie.
Doesn't work for me...for the sole reason that none of my content is available if I'm not connected to XBL... No armor, no maps, no gametypes, no colors, no icon...etc... No glitch fix for mango I guess -Mango
Insane find. This is going to be kind of annoying to do, but it's still AWESOME that it can be fixed.
im testing this...if it works...I will love you foreverandeverandeverandeverandeverandeverandeverandever :ne hour later:: andeverandeverandeverandeverandeverandeverandeverandever
if this works then, <3 *bows down* but i tested it and it didnt seem to work. i unhooked my ethernet cable and tried it out. no dice
aww sadface. I'll test it for me some more after school today, but that just seems weird, it worked fine for me. Other than making a map, I pretty much just layed down a row of 6 double walls, then I saved and quit, came back, and repeated 3 more times. They never changed for me. Oh well. Again, I'll test some more after school. Spoiler It's very weird though. I made a map with walls as floors, it sucked because of huge leaps due to s & q, but on my newer map it's perfectly fine..... I went back to a map I made offline yesterday. It was all tilted. Then I went to an older map I made offline. It was the same as is always has been. I'll try with something simple later, like a flat like 6x6 double wall floor. It's unreliable at best. You may be right about this one. Sorry.
