It is possible to get under the map on the main floor. Once under you can fly around anywhere in there except for where the tunnel down to the crypt is and of course the crypt itself.

You can go as far down as just under the floor of the crypt and as far out as the outer ring. The lasers can't shoot you out there either though they do try.

Also if you want to have anything down there such as teleporters to help brace for a side ways geo merge into the dunes you have to teletap them in half way, then go under and teletap them again the rest of the way and do not let them fall to the bottom. I don't know if they stop at the bottom or just disapear but with the video glitching mirror stuf that goeson you'll never find it if itjustlands down there.

do you have to be off host to do this? I normally don't forge with anyone so most tricks like that never helped me.

No, you do not have to be host to go under the map, but it can be tricky if you are. Just make sure that you are right on top of the blue spawn dot of the double box.

    I haven't seen this mentioned:

The Block Tiny, Block Small, and Broken Column are movable objects in game, but are VERY heavy. Weapon fire doesn't even budge them. Vehicles do. A warthog crashing through a wall of Tiny Blocks is a glorious thing.

This could be used for a dramatic jailbreak, for example.

Maybe you could put that if you deploy a Grav Lift on top of a "Column, Small Damaged" it will keep going up and up until hit hits the ceiling. You can stand on it and you will go up with it, and the Grav Lift has no extra effect on you. This means that you can throw the Grav Lift right in the center and you can stand right on top of the Grav Lift and you will still be standing right on top of the Damaged Column.

To go under no. For teletapping, yes. But if you interlock the teleporter with the same item you are using to force yourself under you may be able to grab the blue spawn dot and bring it down.

That's an untested theory for Sandbox but it works on Foundry.

VERY IMPORTANT: NEVER EVER SET THE BLOCK FLAT IN THE CRYPT HOLE TO NOT RESPAWN AT START. I did this, and now I can't get into the crypt. I need to get into the crypt for my map, and I can't because the block won't let me ****ing pick it up.

Or even easier, wait until it actually disappears or wait until it hshould spawn and then delete it. The object is there, but it really shouldn't be.

Why would it disappear later on?

Do you know the problems with the default objects and how you should not set them to not respawn at start? That block is part if the default objects so it shares the same errors as the rest of the blocks. If you set it to not spawn, you should be able to wait until the time spawns it again removing the ghost block, or just makes it disappear.

Or, like I've said countless times already, DON'T USE THE DEFAULT ****ING ITEMS! Keep all the spawn points, objectives, and weapons, and delete all the other scenery. You will run out of budget before you hit the OLN and you will be saved a lot of pains in the ass.

Be careful when moving spawn points if you want to keep the Sandbox structures in place. Some of the walls are partially merged into the spawn points, so you usually end up deleting the wall under the spawn rather then the spawn point.

Another weird thing I've noticed: All the default scenery is set to never respawn at start, except for a few things like the centre objects. Dunno why, but on Foundry the default objects are set to respawn every 30 seconds.

Another useful object of data: the elastic barrier on Sandbox's ground-level section stops a good two or three wall-heights below the fall barrier from the sky bubble. Using a teleporter or a friend on a turret to bypass the barrier will open up some new opportunities for forge artists to use the fall barrier as a gameplay device. You can shoot across it, but you can't pass through it yourself.

Acually yes it does. I made a map with a friend that connected all of the levels.

how do you do this - i keep dying as soon as i pass through the floor (on host and off, with a guest trying as well) - i can do it on other maps, but not Sandbox

anyway - to make a flat floor in the skybubble using any flat object or a using mixture of different objects (other than those pesky walls) - push the object through the invisi-floor and gently pull it back up without letting it back through the invisi-floor and lock it into place - you are still a few inches above the kill volume and can now make a near perfect floor out of almost any spare object, saving the best objects for other structures

On the colored columns (Small Columns Red and Blue), the areas with the energy matrices--the colored parts, I mean, act in very much the same way as the Shield Doors. Granted, the space is too small to actually pass through, but sticky grenades will bounce off of that surface.

Hey! One more thing to watch out for
A Block Large has one curved edge...so it can be a huge annoyance when trying to interlock objects like walls because the wall against the block tilts inwards!!!!
    HOPE THAT HELPS!! :D
