Man I LOVE Battle Creek and was really hoping I'd love this- but I think it's just too difficult to replicate the feel of the original in the crypt. It's all a little too close together- and I hate not having the area above the original active camo spawn there to climb too- as well as to be able to shortcut to the rockets. A few bumps could be smoothed out as well in the bases by using a ramp. Overall though it's a decent attempt at a remake with what you're given. if only they'd let you add water and change scenery.
This idea is something I was toying with from the beginning but never got around to adding due to the budget, but I will definitely add this in the V2
yeah this map looks sweet. you have done an uber top notch job of remaking this kick ass map. i really like it. overall it looks very well built, nice interlocking and nice job with the rampy thing that leads up to rockets!! it also looks very nice. overall 5/5 one helluva remake totally downloading this.
The map is definatly an awsome remake of the halo 2 variant,but the originality is not getting better.Why couldn't you just had added a few more touches.There is a Budget glitched map for this.I would have done a lot more.Hold up,was there an object limit that was running short?Well 4/5 awsome remake.
Actually you flipped them. It actually was Battle Creek in Halo 1 and Beaver Creek in Halo 2. I would have used the UBGed map if I had started on it, but I didn't, and with the amount I had done there was no way I was going to redo it. It was the budget running short. What do you mean by "the originality is not getting better"?
Awesome! I don't have the Mythic Map Pack yet, but this looks great! Battle/Beaver Creek were my favorite small maps. I will definately get this when it comes out! (I'm going to get all the great remakes of old maps.) (First post at Forge Hub!)
This map is amazingly identical to the real Beaver Creek is Halo 2. If you had the infinite budget glitch, I think you would have made a flawless remake. Nicely done. 5/5
Yeah I kind of wish I had used it. But I was hoping to post it in the group for submitting maps for matchmaking, and they don't allow budget glitched maps
Battle/Beaver creek was one of my favorite maps in halo's 1 & 2. This is the first remake I have seen of it and the only thing it's missing is the rocks on the ramp 7/7 and a dl
