    Ohh I'm gonna have to disagree with the other lights on this one. The map looks really really nice especially as a remake thats faithful to lines of sight with the original lockout (as opposed to blackout with the no library window and sights across bottom mid BS). However I really wish the lift had made it into the map as besides the sniper tower its probably one of the maps most notable features (plus how cool would it looks with a blue light in the lift tunnel?). I totally understand if you hit the object/ budget limit though. The only thing I would say is that if you could in anyway somehow find the budget to make a version with the lift that would be amazing as we'd have THE quintessential lockout remake. Plus on a side note I'm just not a big fan of the banshee, especially on my precious lockout. Reallly really nice job with a lot of the forging though.

    I'm sorry but this does not have my DL... its a remake thats already been remade by bungie... Blackout = Lockout deal with it... and the banshee is a horrible thing to put on this map it kind of ruins the maps "basis" so to speak... but overall job on the forging... 5/5.... map concept... 1/5

    i never said it didnt look nice. it looks incredible. I DL'd and for what he did, its pretty damn faithful. But even if he hadn't hit the OLN, there's only a little over $100 left.. which wouldnt be enough to create the rest of the map anyway (the lift room, shotgun tunnel, and elbow).

    Id suggest, since you can't finish the rest of the map like you had planned, plug the hole up that would be the drop-down hole to shotgun, and close the wall off from S1 that would lead down the elbow.

    did you try deleting objective points and areas from unused gametypes to free up more items? That could help some

    You did a good job of what you did remake. But why didn't you make the lift room! It would have been sooooooooooo awesome!

    Umm, what banshee? There has never been a banshee on Lockout, ever.

    But anyway awesome job on the map. This is pretty much exactly what Lockout used to look like. I love the light effects, if only there was the snow..hah. Although I don't agree with the banshee idea as it changes the way the map is played(constantly fearing an attack from above.) but it is well forged and looks amazing. I think you should do a V2 and re-create the lift room along with the shotgun tunnel connecting to it. Seeing what you have done so far is really good and I think you could re-make both parts with ease. Please, don't take any of what I have said offensive, because your map is a beauty.

    Remove the Banshee and add lift room and it'd be fantastic. I know it was meant to mix things up, but I'm not really liking it.

    No. I'm not saying this is better, but Blackout is not = to Lockout, no matter what you say. So many things are missing. Jumps like Elbow to S2 are gone, the line of sight from bottom snipe to br1 is gone, the window is gone (this is the worst part about blackout, imo), you can't go down the lift, etc., etc., etc.

    Uhm, you do know that bungie alread ymade a remake of lockout, right? I just don't see the point of this map, but it looks like you tried really hard on making it so I'll give you a 4.

    Blackout is like exactly the same as lockout so why make a remake

    You've done an outsanding job on the tower opposite the sniper spawn, it looks very smooth. And i do think that adding a banshee to the gameplay list would mix things up. Everything seems proportionate to the original Lockout, I give this map a 9/10! Great Work!

    In my opinion...
    Lockout=Perfect
    Perfect+Change=Less than Perfect
    So in my opinion changing the map is not the smartest thing because the result will most likely be worse than the original.

    Okay so I do not like the banshee. In Halo 2 Lockout was a great FFA as well as team map but with the addition of a banshee, FFA is ruined and the competitive feel in team games is ruined for in favor for something casual which makes the map fell more like a Lockout-Assension hybrid.

    On a final note I do not see this map being successful in its current state because those who were not satisfied with Blackout, will surely not be satisfied by this map and those who did like Blackout might as well just play Blackout.

    wow thats idetical, i cant beleive how real it looks to the orgianl lockout. Im kinda glad you made the banshee there now there wont be alot of camping in that area. How did you do they bottom part hough if there wasnt a shotgun hall of a ramp leading to the lift?

    i'm glad you realize the problem. I left the shotgun hole there so players wouldn't hug the wall when a sniper was at the end of the hall. That line of sight is critical to lockout. I also decided to leave the shotgun hole open in case the banshee decided to hide down there (which happened once). Other than those reasons, its good for people to avoid dropping into the hole when they are fighting in the bottom middle room. It feels more like lockout that way. It would be an easy fix though if i chose to change it. Id just switch out the single wall for a double. I also left the opening for the elbow open for similar reasons. Both would be an easy fix though.

    Yes i deleted the unused objective points (as many as i could spare) and it did help considerably. If i knew of any way to add the lift tower, i would in a heart beat. But until someone comes up with a way to bypass the OLN, thats not quite possible. But hey this map is still a blast. I forgot to mention in my post (i'll go add this) that the banshee is set to asymmetrical games only. That helps quite a lot

    i know people have said this over and over again, but you made a simply amazing remake of lockout. I have played on this and it plays just like the old lockout. Playing on this map and not on blackout for some reason makes me feel like im in the old lockout. I am well aware of your problem with lift, shotgun room, and the elbow. If those were all there i would easily play this map way more than blackout. I do not know if any one else has found this, but why is there a rocket launcher on the map? If you are at the br tower looking over the rest of the map, the corner where the wooden bridges are, there is a rocket under it!?! If you are reading this Gunnergrunt, please tell me why you put this there. lol i have no clue why. anyway, i love the map, and if there is a way around the OLN please make the rest, because this really is incredible

    hey someone found it! Don't worry, you won't be able to use it. yeah i left that on there in case i needed to switch out the laser. But it turned out the laser was perfect so i didnt need it. I left it under the map like that, but there is absolutely no way to use it, trust me. I also left a transport hornet in the crypt in case i needed to switch it out with the banshee. But i did not. So if those were deleted, there would be two spare objects on the map, not much to work with

    Haha well i'm glad you found a home ninja, but be careful with your comments. They're starting to look a bit spam-ish! Any why yes, i'm quite pleased with all the comments ^.^

    lol wow cant believe you wasted your time with this theres already guardian and blackout and i can see thiis is a faithful recreation even the banshee is in the same place but now even better because you can fly a mile away from the map amazing

    and you say you put a hornet in the crypt?

    not a big deal.

    i guess it may affect something if this was to get featured, but i doubt it.

    I think that the banshee is actually a great addition to the map for several reasons:
    1. It removes an area of the map that, in my opinion, is the worst area. I would always get spawn-trapped there.
    2. There are many places on the map that you can hide from the banshee, even though it seems like there are not.
    3. Because of its power, it diverts the focus of the map to the underground areas for a more intense style of play.
