This looks really nice and organised. I hope other people catch on so that we will produce a large number of fun infection maps. The mansion you are making seems goob but you should definetly try to come up with some unique twists to gameplay. maybe add in some switchs that set off traps or seal of doors for a couple seconds. Its always good to give the humans many ways to improve their defenses. maybe even try to get the same barricade feeling from Township. Great work
I may need to link this thread to the post for our map when I post it. You've done a good job with this and I really think that when you're done planning the map out, that you should post a sketch-out of it.
Ya I'll put a simple scetch of what I am designing once the design is done. I may put google scetch up pics on here if I can too, just for a better look at the map.
I have been thinking about the traps and switches, and I have thought about using the simple overshield, camo deal...where a dumbster is held infront of a man cannon but stopped by an overshield or camo. When someone (hopefully a zombie) see's the power up they will go for it and then get crushed by the dumbster. Also RivalMass, I may need to know what all is used for the Random Weapon Box. (sign, walls, ect.) Mainly because so far the map is taking a lot of resources and I am trying to make sure I don't run out of one perticular item. Also, how do you get weapons to float on a wall? I know you use a weapon holder, but not quite sure exactly how to get the weapon straight. I haven't started forging by the may..just gathering info for when I begin. Only about 45% completely satisfied with what I have designed so far.
this looks pretty cool, nice idea with creating a new map for **** zombies from scratch. if you need any help forging? is this going to be 2 storeys or 3? oh dont worrry about the first line i got an rrod
The random weapon box does not require many items to make and it can be constructed with many different items. I suggest that you should however try to build it with two signs (for the slot) and an open single box (for the gravlift) as we did in our map. Getting the weapons on the wall is a little tricky at first. I found a pretty easy method by the end though. Place a door against the wall that you wish to embed the weapon holder. Make the wall not spawn and then start a new round. Now place two sideways doors next to the first one. This is to get the depth. Delete the one in the middle and then push the weapon holder against the door that is furthest back. Basically what you are doing is getting the weapon holder merged at a depth of one sideways door. Next, place the weapon and then make the wall spawn. When you grab the weapon again it should be held sideaways. Adjust it until it is perfect.

Well, it is going quite fast so far, mainly due to the fact that I am in Spring Break right now. But, i think once school starts back up again(in one day..NOOO!!) then it will slow down. I can't play xbox during the week, cause I gotta stay focused on football and school. Unfortunate. So that means that I can only forge or what ever on weekends. To answer your question about how many floors the house will be...the house is 2 stories high. I am also placing two traps on the second floor along with the random weapon box. (RivalMass I am probly going to need help making that. Can I PM you or msg you over xbox live when I need it placed into the map. Also, blocking off the area where the zombies spawn is another thing I don't know how to forge. I will wait until you are availble too.) Also, you cannot shoot through the windows where zombies climb through. The windows for the zombies would not work without the sign on top I'm pretty sure.(I'll double check.) I know it is kind of bad, but I added key normal windows where players can stop on coming zombies and keep the horde down for a while. Of course, testing the map will help fix these problems.
Hahaha, don't worry man I still have a lot to do! Today I won't get much done..I have to read "To Kill a Mokingbird", for gay English class. Exciting!...NOT! This means I can't really forge until friday night this weekend. Let me know when your xbox gets in. I bet it'll be around the time we start testing the map.
I love Forge Projects like these. Making a pretty much new gametype, and then releasing "New Content" for their map and game. It seems like they are Bungie and they are releasing something new. Very nice job on the **** Map BTW guys. They need to add on some survival mode to Halo. I wonder if they will do that with ODST...
i sure will, i missed out on testing master debayters map coz it broke so i hope i'll get to test this one have you considered re-making one of the pc only **** zonbies maps?

Ya, kind of in a way. The over all area the map takes up is larger I think, but the rooms make it seem smaller..you know because in Master's there are really big rooms.
im officially supporting the judgement gametype. first the Last Day, now this one. Great! I'll let you know when testing begins. It will be about a month though, so be ready to wait. Forging has come to a halt...school is taking over my time right now, along with athletics, so I cannot continue the map for a couple of weeks.
