This is very interesting, but i think for all of us, we will have to see it to believe it...so to speak.
What I really hate is that people believe that the world will abruptly come to an end. IF the World is to end, it will happen over a long period of time. If it takes a long time to begin, it must take at the very least a bit of time before it ends.
Well for most christians i know they think this is ****. It says in the bible that we won't know when the world ends and never will. But if the world does end... (dang i need a ***** lol) Any way this is ****.
No. The world will not end in 2012 in my opinion. Lets look at the Mayans and they're intellectual levels. Sure they made have made some ideas and discoveries that have now evolved into something greater than they would ever imagine, but these are the people who believed ripping the hearts out of innocents would please the "gods." I know its their form of "religion" but its quite dumb if you ask me. Anyways, thats a personal opinion. But not to go all religious on ya'll here, but the Bible says in Revelation that "the end will come like a thief in the night." No one can ever predict when a thief comes. Therefore, we do not know when the world will end. It won't be predicted by anyone and the only way we will know if it is the end of the world is that it happens.

I remember watching this on the history channel. I thought it was interesting, but I'm not falling for it. I also saw something about these "crystal skulls" that if all 13 are not brought together by this "world end" date, the world will end, but if the skulls are re-united, we are okay. Come on..........crystal skulls??? Seriously? LOL You mean to tell me that my life depends on a crystal skull??
Yes the world will end in the near future. For those of you who haven't studied ancient Mayans and similar things, their calenders are off by a while now. (they didn't know about leap year and time changes and all that good stuff). They lived around a thousand years ago, and that would be at least a year(big deal) off date. =O Doesn't sound like a lot, but just putting it out their, for you to ponder over. But, in the time of bignamedphysicist a nuclear warhead would look quite similar to a giant meteor of doom and gloom. Another juicy thing to thing over. Look at the economy now! Countries are failing all around us and we don't do anything to save ourselves. And motherlickin Obama, going out and spending thousands, millions, billions on absolutly nothing to help the economy. Don't pay attention to what he say's, pay attention to what he means! Obama's plan is to waste billions of dollars to preserve an ever shrinking amount of jobs. Does anyone here pay attention to what he says? "The stimulus plan will create 4.5mil jobs" Yesterday he said: "The plan will create OR protect 3 mil jobs." That's going to do a lot of good, spending all that money on nothing. The proud United States of America will fall to his greedy and corrupt liberalism and after the US is gone, the entire planet will fail(epically) and the world will subdue to chaos, destroying the very thing that keeps the world whole. I don't think they are right. As right as they have been...they have been wrong too. honestly there is no way you can predict something like 5000 years in the future

uhhh i have to disagree with a lot of you because i was watching apocolypse how and the world is suppose to end by a black hole that will suck us in or when a black hole forms a gamma ray is fired out and might hit us melting away our o-zone layer and the uv rays from the sun will kill us or if humanity survives for a really long time and im talking about maybe 10,000 years or so and thats when the next ice age will form and if we survive that ice age then our friend the sun may have surprise for us yeah thats right fire a painful death and melt us all yeah pretty scary right and i think the world is going to end from one of those four things lets hope its a black hole because the other ones will be painful and the black hole will tear us apart like noodles and all if a black hole does and hopfully not suck us in then we just have to except fate and im catholic so yeah we will never know when the world will end and in the bible it says at the very end of time God will make us a new and on ash wed. the priests say from dust you came and unto dust you shall return

Honestly i think all this happening like 2012 and global warming is just giving scientist something to do. Like if all these scientist saying this because they dont got anything better to do. lol i agree with you on that. i just think the mayans didn't feel like they need to go that far ahead. besides another idea is that maybe their relgion said that was the day of their "apacolyps"; kinda like how the christains have theirs along with most religions. but that doesnt have much jurisdiction on those who are not worshiping mayans. but if it did end, i think it will be due to zombies; most countries are not prepared for a large scale zome attack. the question is though are you prepared and do have your emergancy zombie plan?
