It is a cool effect, the bubble of color on an all white background, like an inverted lightbulb. I like how the battle rifle pops out into the background a little, adding depth to the screenshot. The blood looks awesome as well, like a lava lamp. What I don't like howver, is that the majority of the screenshot is blinding white. If the area of color were a little wider, but still with action going on in the outer edges, like in this thinner bubble, it would look amazing.
You over do this post.Try to explain this a little shorter, don't get cut.I like the framing that is in on the spartan,4/5.Angle is a 2/5 and the lighting is a 4/5.Overall rating is the dreaded 3/5 as in average.
Y' know what's funny? Look at my avatar. It's the exact same style as my pic in my Enlightenment Session in my sig! Lol I can't really explain it, but I love this pic for the same reasons as I love mine. That small feeling of yearning is evident in both of ours. 5/5
I like the feeling of isolation the picture gives, but I'm not a fan of white-washed screenshots as I feel that they take the least skill. 3/5
Just want to let everyone know that i appreciate the feedback... Have been out of town for a bit avoiding the raging Red River of the north here in ND and well... lets just get to the point: totally agree about this picture taking no skill, well low-skill may be a better wording. i was just fling around a campaign vid and seen some different effects and this one was made a long time ago and could not get the white to be less significant, while maintaining 'hIgh-f0cus' on Chief, nor did i want to. i wanted a simple background for my computer without alot of 'clutter' obstructing my desktop icons. mission accomplished. but i do agree with anybody 100% that a toned-down version of this would be cool. dont intend on a redo but maybe ill be bored enough one day. and I am more of a forge junkie than a photographer.
