    Alright, anywhere from now to four hours, I'm ready to forge through/test the map. I get a little bit more time then expected. :happy:

    Ok. I was thinking of getting online around 11:00 east coast time. I'm not sure who will be there but if people do show up we might have to drag in players on their friends list or something...

    Ok, thats fine.

    Honestly I don't know how well the gametype is going to work. I designed it and tested it with only two players to get a sense of how fast zombies and humans died but that will all change with more people. It won't be terrible but probably in need for a little editing and balancing.

    This map is amazing. You were right about how simple the random weapon box is, though. Nice job on making it so small! Just one thing (which you probably fixed) is the tunnel teleporter being open the whole game... But even still, this is a really fun game.

    If you guys wanted to I guess we could do another round of testing soon. The first one went well though we only had six people. The game worked well and I fixed the tunnel problem.

    Humans starting out. There were six people and the infected amount was 50%

    I entered the Help room as the other humans were swarmed.

    Using the random weapon box is easy. Just go up to it and hit the propane tank. Then move up to the slot and hold rb (control to pick up a weapon)

    I was lucky and the Zombies had to face my random weapon...

    I would have held them off but a sneaky player went through the cave.

    This was really fun! (can't believe how simple the random box is!)

    A few points of criticism (which I said in game) are:
    Mongoose spawn allows zombies to get to top floor early, allowing them to jump onto the zombies (but I'm sure this has been fixed by now)

    Humans can get stuck in the stairs (lol, that was funny when that happened)

    Humans can jump on each others head to get to top floor.

    And if I would also like the random box to spawn faster and the stairs in the help room to spawn faster.


    Apart from those points this map is excellent and very true to the actual version (on COD5) and very fun playing it!

    These are the three, only, major problems with the map. I don't really understand the first one though. Is there any way to block off the stairs until they spawn so people can't get up there early/get stuck?

    My xbox isn't back yet. I knew there would be bugs with the map, but it's still epic win. Oh, it's my birthday today, so that makes me happy.

    Ok, that's fine with me. I'm thinking that we will start the game around seven or something.

    The game went very well and I had a good time. With no radar and Zombies at 50% the game got very hectic. Though the difficulty can easily be tweaked by changing the starting amount based on party size. Overall it was enjoyable, and I am waiting to hear from Insane54 on what he thought of the map.

    We had a recon drop by which was a surprise...

    And then for the first time yet, someone got the ray gun. It was very powerful.

    I fixed the problem of the zombies getting into areas prematurely by changing the spawn times of the ghosts and mangooses.

    I added in two fencewalls to block off the windows because I remember someone escaped but i'm not sure which window they used.

    I reduced the random weapon box time to 30 sec. (people only got to use it 2 or 3 times a game)


    Now I am going to look into the other problems. Somehow I will have to keep people from getting stuck in the stairs. I was thinking of having man cannons spawn in the first room to push people back. This could either happen right before the stairs spawn or they could be there the whole time which would keep people from stacking up to the second floor.

    What weapon is the ray gun, it seems like it would be the plasma pistol but that is, i guess, not supposed to be a very powerful weapon.

    btw not to be critical, but i guess you cant make the zombies stronger over time, unless you put a custom powerup that instantly spawns where the zombies do.

    anyways i havent been to this thread in a while but according to the map pics this looks great.

    I just played some games with my friends a little earlier, because I found some spare time, and wow.

    We did an amazing job, but I saw some areas that seriously need some work. I want to work on this map alone before I post it. RivalMass is going to need to sended me the updated version after he's done with it.

    The first round was the best for me, because right when I went into the help room, my first gun from the Random Box was the Ray Gun. My friend went next and grabbed the Flamethrower. BTW, the flamethrower is almost useless again the zombies with the custom powerup, since headshots are the main way to kill them.

    The second round was fun too, because I was the zombie for the first time. The entrance in is rather quick, but it's better that way. And humans completely dominate in the first room, until zombies can gain entrance from the top story.

    I found one huge problem with the gametpe though, and that is that zombies would use the charge shot to drain off the humans' shields and then kill them in one punch. This is why I urged for a gametype where humans had no shield, to avoid this problem. I might have to work on that too.
