I'm curious as to why I haven't got the Brainpan achievement yet, but I've still got all three skulls. That would suggest the other three are also on the mythic map pack. I can't remember where I read it, but apparently with the Halo Wars LCE was "A Mythic Map Pack Preview". The plot thickens...
Yes, longshore, heretic, and citadel are also mythic maps. you will need those skulls as well. they will be released with ODST. this has been known for a while. EDIT: awww beat me to it
Assembly is what we have been needing, a perrrfect Arena map that is great for BR's. Hopefully MLG will put Assembly in their map list.
Assembly == awesome slayer map. Forge lacks some things, but not enough to create a problem. 9/10 Orbital looks like pure crap to me compared to Sandbox/Assembly, bungie really overdid all the passages in that map. Slayer and 2 sided objectives have obvious imbalances depending on your location, though I hope that some forgers can make a better layout than the default one. (Yes I know the map is for 1 sided objectives, yet all I've been getting on the mythic playlist is Slayer and 2 Sided objectives.). 3/10
I'm intrigued by Assembly. It's an excellent 1v1 and 2v2 map, but it's too small for 4v4 IMO. I did find the map's skull all by myself! I feel so special! How long do you have to wait on the map before a scarab gets built above your head?
has anyone else considered an infection map on orbital im planning it now, but cant do it until i get maps
yea an infection map on orbital would be cool like block off some of the tunnels and put alot of boxes in weird positions so it would look like something strange happend there -_- hummmmmmmmm?
i their vidoi on youtube show geting the skulls yeah i i like oprbital alot aqctuall because it looks sweet but i wish people would look at them not just a t sand box i mean sure sand box is a forges dream but still i like the other maps two asslemy not so much tho orbital has long hall ways race track??? maaybe
Yes i do like orbital better for forging. I haven't really made any maps on it, but assembly is kind of awkward to forge. You can't really do much without making it look odd rather than change weapons.
I think sandbox kind of makes those two maps look dull for forgers, mainly because their isn't much too do, the only major change is that you can add a gravity lift too the lower level on Orbital, making it possible too jump from the lower too upper level.
typical noobie atitude . sandbox seems great, but it is so standard. like how foundry has been the boring norm forge map ever since it came out until now. once i get the maps and get my xbox back (probably not for amonth :cry i am willing to bet i could easily make abetter map on orbital than you could on sandbox.
Hey, people have different tastes. I mean, a forge guru will absolutely LOVE Sandbox, a competitive player will love Assembly, and a Objective lover will love Orbital. Bungie has done a sensational job on these maps.

I dont have the mythic maps so can someone tell me which one of the 3 new maps is the best to just play on, not forge
IMO i guess it would depend on your tastes. Assembly is good for 1v1, orbital is good for medium-large objective and slayer, sandbox is good for the biggest games, and vehicular combat.
