    -FRSRS UPDATE GUYS-

    I have concidered everything you guys have said (lions, oberlin, and, uh, a redbull can too) And I am going to remake this on sandbox and there will be grav-lifts, umong other things, it should be done in two-three weeks, i've been busy lately, but i'll get at it

    nice!...is it gonna have hornets and flyiing stuff?..

    i cant believe that i got an infraction for that colorful post..i even said some concerns about the map:( can people read?

    did you get my message on xbox.. i will be on for like 30 minutes tonight so i might try to work on one.

    on this maps v2 or w/e try to make the zombies a lttle bit faster, just to make it more interesting, and if there are flying vehicles then make them low grav

    I've playing this mini game non-stop with my friends for the past week. It's so much fun! Personally I feel that the shouldn't have things like equipment as the map was actually quite good due its simplicity. I look forward to seeing your sandbox version of this map, which I will most certainly download as soon as it is out!

    I think i won't add hornets and stuff cause they can just stay super high and just evade the rare plasma shot, even if they do get hit by the plasma shot, they're too protected. What would low grav do?

    And i haven't been on xbox for a while, i'll probably be back on around monday, and get started on it.



    Here is a rundown of what i'm thinking for the V2:

    -sandbox center area with a few bumps added
    -vehicles start in the dunes with lasers blocked for 20 seconds
    -zombies faster and weaker
    -zombies spawn in the hole and shoot up (don't worry, i have a plan)
    -two equiptment grav-lifts in the center

    do you like the idea?... i almost wet my pants when i thought of it!

    but i dont know if youll havE enough of the certain object(wink wink...water)eh?

    the low gravity would make em' jump higher if you did add hornets and stufffff to the map,...and i think for equipment, you should add deployable cover(for kicks), grav lift, trip mine, and flare..

    LOL I got Mythic, and the first thing I did was try to start redoing it for the Crypt. All my friends love this game.

    nice, how did you get the mythic?...that would be fun in the crypt, or maybe make it floating in the skybubble to make more of a challenge.

    I thought about crypt and skybooble, but ground level seems fit, you can't fall off and theres no walls. And Lions, I havn't been on xbox so i wouldn't don't know about your secret mini game of awsome, maybe p.m. me or something.

    With the new smearena I'm gonna have to add a lot of forge aesthetic gimmicks so people will download and play it, because gameplay is where this stands out, at first glance this looks dumb. I also need a new name for smear the pinkie, i don't really like that name.

    ok umm the name smear the ***** was the best, but it wasnt allowed...even though thats the one i still use:)
    it needs to be another name that really stands out, and it like a short motto like smear the quear had with the 3 word thing goin and the rhyme..hmmmmmMmmmm...YOU SHOULD HAVE A CONTEST TO COME UP WITH THE NAME....and actually just check ur messagEs from xbox.com, cuz i dont feel like writing tat again.

    This sounds like a really good idea, I like the fact that you've put in equipment but only a few pieces which could save your life without completely changing the game. I think the center area of sandbox seems much too big, its pretty huge compared to foundry. Maybe you could just use walls in the center area so you could still have it fairly big but not so big that vehicles would just run away.

    If you decide to make it use the whole place then I think that making the zombies faster is a really good idea. I like the idea of using the laser thingies to get the vehicles off the dunes!

    Anyway, once again, looking forward to V2!

    But then how do you un-block the lasers after 20 sec? Spawn Killballs on the vehicles, much more fun.

    I'm not really sure if this would work as I have not experimented but you could block them with objects like pallets and then 20 seconds into the game make fusion coils blow them up. I haven't seen if it is possible to block the guardian towers with a pallet but if you can then this should work!

    If a fusion coil would break it, I'm almost certain the lasers would =/

    okay lets get started

    yesterday on TGIF 29 sargentsarcasm had a community experiment where me and a few other well known members from the site got together and tested and played maps that we thought were going to be fun and have good gameplay. lucky you you were chosen!

    enough introduction we had so much fun on smear da pinkie and i cant really think of what you can fix other than the wall which doesnt make a difference so dont worry about it. but let me tell you a few short storys. on the first round im not sure who it was but he got stuck trying to get the warthog out of the start. of course him being stubborn he didnt want to leave his warthog so as he was yelling dont leave a hog behind he got blown up by a barrage of fusion coils... it was lol. so i guess thats another thing you can fix is put the hog in the front and put a ghost behind it.

    anyways your map is alot of fun and mabey a few fixes and i wont be surpised if this gets featured. good job and keep forgin us good maps

    Thanks for picking my map and i'm glad you liked it, I have made improvements to the game and i will update it soon, i fixed the pallet break and rounded some of the corners, which it a love or hate move, some people loved the confusing pile-ups on the corners.

    And as to featuring, it's been talked about a lot, whether it will or not i guess is up to the staff, but if they haven't said a word yet, i guess it won't happen. How do maps usually get featured, do the staff find you or do you find the staff? I think this diserves it for the gameplay, just like cat and mouse. Me and my friends have played it countless times and its no boring yet, which suprises me.



    And to all people who are following the sandbox remake, i'm still expirimenting with many varients, but nothing seems better than the good old foundry one, yet.

    Here is what i got brewin:
    -zombie shoot up invisibly and can land anywhere they want
    -humans and vehicles spawn outside and are destroyed when a man-cannon shoots a block out of the way 30 seconds in.
    -zombies are faster

    And the it seems that the hugeness of sandbox is too big, the lack of walls is nice, but foundry seems to be just the right size.

    a driver never leaves his hog...NEVVVEEERRRRRR

    anywho, i was lagging like hell so half the game it looked like I was playing alone and randomly getting killed. however, the non-laggy portion of the game was rather interesting.

    some stuff I'd advise for the next version of the map.

    • have the humans spawn above the field and have delayed spawn on the "pinkies" (MAAAYBE) so that they can get into the game faster...or at least make it easier to get out of the starting gate
    • remove the hog and the mongeese, or at least insert more hogs, possibly choppers. Those two vehicles are virtually useless on the map, as you can rarely pick up enough speed to get a few mowdowns if you're constantly dodging other vehicles. Furthermore they clog up the human spawn.
    • add some ramps or something to divert the flow. as it was, I literally felt like you had just placed some vehicles down on foundry canvas (even if you had built a wall). Zombies could bunker down beneath a ramp and wait for an adventerous human, etc.
    that are it yo.

    ya thaT...or use that other back section of foundry. and maybe use teleporters to keep zombies from getting through, make them face outwards as if you actually got pushed out of the garage.

    eh?
