Key Points - Will be free for Xbox 360 and PC - Will be released in March or April - Special edition of L4D that includes the DLC will be available shortly after DLC release - Modified versions of Dead Air and Death Toll added to Versus game mode - The new game mode Survival Mode will include 16 levels to play on, where you and up to three friends withstand increasingly difficult waves of zombie hordes - 15 of the Survival Mode stages are from preexisting campaign levels, with the addition of the never before seen Lighthouse stage - In Survival Mode, it is possible to get numerous of the same special infected at any given time, and that applies to Tanks as well - Through all play testing, no group has managed 10 minutes in Survival Mode - Survival Mode will include an unlimited preparation time for the survivors to prepare for the horde - There is a medal system that survivors can earn for surviving certain amounts of time in the new Survival mode - The requirements for bronze, silver, and gold medals are different for each stage, but it is essentially: Bronze = 4 minutes, Silver = 6 minutes, Gold = 8 minutes - Valve's System Development Kit will also be released, allowing their PC community to create their own mods and levels Overall, I'm a little disappointed that there is only one stage that is new, but I really can't wait for this DLC and would gladly pay for it if their was a price. Yeah I agree that it sucks that theres only one new level, but because survival mode is so different from versus or campaign, I think it will make the 15 other levels seem brand new, especially with all the added goodies for defending against the infected.
I'm glad they included Survival Mode. If you wanna play a good game of L4D you really got to set out like an hour to an hour and a half of playtime. For Survival, you can set it up and play a few rounds in 15 minutes. Just a nice quick fix.

Well I wasn't sure because I haven't gotten on in like two days, so a patch could have been implemented. Anyway, I made a thread about the patch when it came out. Lemme dig it up...
