I recently (almost a month ago) activated the free month trial that came with the 360, and that ended in a new account, with it's own gamerpoint, and so on.
But very soon, that profile will be rendered useless to me, but -all- maps I made in forge (10-ish, of which I only count 1 or 2 'complete') are linked to that profile, and I can't seem to access them from a different one.
Seeing as my original profile has a lot more gamerpoints, I'll continue playing on that one when I purchase an Xbox Live account, but I won't be able to access my forge maps, then.

    Or can I?
Haven't done -a lot- of browsing the forum, so if an equal topic had already been made, my apologies.
And I couldn't see a forum where else I could post this thread if this isn't the right place to.

Thanks in advance for just reading this, and another big thankyou if you have a solution.

The maps are technically on your harddrive, but you'll have to either upload them, then download them from your fileshare, or there might be some way in the memory option to copy them to your other profile.

    Go to Bungie.net,
sign in (or register) under the account with the linked gamertag that has more gamerpoints,
under community go to people finder,
search the other gamertag (the one with the maps),
    go to that gamertag's fileshare,
click copy to my fileshare for each map,

    bingo!

    hope that helped

I think you can simply grab 2 controllers, sign both profiles in for a custom or Forge game, then just use the controller that's signed in to the profile with the maps to choose from the list. Start the game, do yo thang for a little bit, then end it. You should be able to save the Forged maps to your proper profile now by selecting them on the "recent maps" list (located under select map in customs and Forge), then pressing x to save it. Hope this helps.

@ER1C0: That will also work, but will require the profile still be active whilst you do this, since Silver accounts cannot use the H3 Fileshare. If you can still do this then it is a decent amount easier to do than my method, you just have to upload the maps on to your Fileshare on the account with all the maps, then you can download them either from Bungie.net like ER1C0 says, or you can just add your other profile as a friend and find the fileshare from your xbox. Btw, it's probably best to download the maps instead of copying them to your fileshare, since you may already have stuff in there and, after all, you'll have to download them anyway to actually Forge them.
Again the disadvantage of this method is that you can only do it whilst the month trial profile is still a valid Gold account, so if you want to leave them on that profile until they are needed then the first method is probably easier, but if you just want them asap then use the fileshare method (if you've got 10 or so maps then you will have to do it in at least 2 parts - Fileshares only hold 6 without Bungie Pro)

@nd EDIT @ ER1C0: Idk, I've had to do it before and loading up all the maps in their own game gets a bit boring it has to be said, if it's a possibility for him and he wants the maps fast and easy, then I'd say your Fileshare method is the way to go.

Well, even if that works, I could only upload 6 forge levels..
Thanks for the idea, though. I'll upload my personal favourites, in case all else fails.

    Yeah, about that.
I once brought my storage device with me to a friend that doesn't have an online connection, so we could play the Heroic Maps anyway.
But they wouldn't show up in the map list, so I guess it stores data such as what maps you downloaded somewhere else?
Although several variants of default maps I downloaded did show up...

But I'll look around if there's a way to copy them.

That's actually a great idea. I'll try that right away, infact.
Edit 2: Works brilliantly, thanks! Can't quite figure why I hadn't thought of this myself.

    Edit: horrible, horrible mistypes.

Hope the 2 controller method works, but if not then the Fileshare one is still a solid route. True the FS only holds 6 items, but you could upload 6 of the maps, download them on to your new profile, then go back to your old one and change the maps for a different 6, then go back and download these new ones. it is a bit arduous going back and forth, but you could do this with both profiles signed in like my suggestions, meaning you could just drop your controller and pick up the other one when you have to change the maps in your fileshare.

You should actually be able to do the two controller method slightly shorter.

Start the game with crappy-nomoreusefull-account on one controller and your good-yayIcanplayonthisone-account on the other. Now you're in the game, use the good account controller and just save as new map. You may need to rename it so that it doesn't have some gay name, but that should work easier.

Well, actually, that's what I thought he meant, and it's the method I've been using these last 10 minutes.
I could've been done by now, but I've made some slight changes in some of the maps, so now some of them are slightly closer to completion.
Alright, completion is difficult for me to achieve, but still. Little by little, they'll get there.
