    Map: Van Halen

    Gametype: Panama

Supported Gametypes: Slayer, Team Slayer, Capture the Flag

    Makers: xMess U Up247x & BlueTeamSuckzzz

Description: Van Halen started out as a tunnel raid map idea that morphed into a 2v2 - 4v4 map full of action and excitement. I'm not really going to write much more because this is boring and all you really want to see is the pictures anyway, right...? Oh and the name is just the band we happened to be listening to when the map was finished making. Fileshare link to to one of our extra accounts because our bungie pro was full fyi.

    Weapons:

    • Battle Rifle x8
    • Shotgun x2
    • Sniper Rifle x2
    • Rocket Launcher x1
    • Sticky Grenades x4
    • Bubble Shield x1

This looks like a pretty solid MLG style map. I'm kinda wierded out by the name, but the name is not what counts. lol. You have decent interlocking, but I think you may want to use it more often. You may want to update your weapons list, as I see a rocket launcher in the middle. I would also like to see some of the gametypes supported for the map. Decent map overall. Keep Forging.

Personally, I don't see what's wrong with the rocket launcher, there's
enough other weapons to counterbalance it.. But yeah, I agree with the wepons list updating.

But for a first map, this is VERY good.

    But WTF with the name..?!

    As The Number 0000 Said;
    Keep forging.
    4/5.

Sorry about that bro, it's been quite a long time since I've posted here. I lost a step! lol.

And the name was simply the name of the band that we were listening to while we made and finished the map. And Panama is one Van Halens songs ; ).

Nice symmetry. For a narrow, small map, this was neatly set up. One word of advice though, and this just may be me: on the wall you made to split foundry, I'm not if I would have a straight b-line from base to base across that wall. It just feels like it needs to be broken up. As for your bases, i have not seen the two stairway entry before, but I liked how it looks. You also made sure that your narrow map didn't have a single pinch point between the bases- very well thought out. Nice job for your first nack at slayer maps.

Thanks for the constructive criticism man, but what exactly did you mean be pinch point? I'm not up to date on all this lingo =).

all the mlg maps always have a tend to look the same, this one looks really similar i forget the name but it looks extremely like another mlg map.

    in short: needs more originality.
