    MLG Control v13.

    Hello everyone, I have just signed into ForgeHub and this is my first professional Competitive map and I made it fit MLG standards.

    First off, I'll tell you about it, MLG Control is a Very very almost completely symmetrical map (except for 2 stacks and the A and B signs.) It features:

    1 Sniper
    8-or so BR's
    2 Carbines
    8-or so Plasma grenades
    12 Frag grenades
    2 Maulers
    And an Ubershield. (Custom powerup x 4 Shields... Or 3. I have a small memory)

    It Is playable on KoTH, TS, CTF, Oddball, One Flag and the MLG versions of these.

    It Is recommended with TS, MLG TS, and MLG CTF.

    It Includes Merging (Not much however)
    Floating,
    and Symmetrical and Asymmetrical Use,
    and that's as much as I remember :s

    One of the Mauler stands, On top is a fence wall bridge and Ubershield.

    The Floating sniper (Removed and lowered in Asymetric gametypes) and behind it is another Mauler.

    Every single bit of land on the map is able to be stood on, Except for the White base markers and behind the Wall made of Walls. Hopefully.

    The towers are excellent for sniping, and a gap between the ramp between the middle 2 towers on each base acts like a bunker.

    As I said it's my first map, so don't get angry and vote 1 if it's bad :(

    Now go and own Red vs Blue Style! Unless it's FFA! Or Multi Team!

    When you say Ubershield you mean the white dot up abvove one of the sides correct? And i also have a question on your bridges. The ones that are slanted up don't look like they had a real purpose other than to look cool which sorta failed in my perspective. It looks really open compared to the other MLG maps too. This layout is pretty good, so if you made a v2 it would be that much better. ;)

    Thanks for the feed back, It is possible to walk up the bridges on the side, They aren't for ascetics. Ubershield is slang for the MLG overshield that grants x4 overshield. The white powerups are on both sides are on both sides and are purely ascetic. I though It looked open in the overview, but I missed a few screen shots, It's more cluttered than you think. I should of put a couple more screen on. Most of the towers are covering crates and stuff.

    Thanks again for the feedback. I'll make sure if it still looks open when in game, I'll look into that :)

    i like how the map is almost symmetrical, the ubershield sounds fun. i think swat would be hectic on this map. pretty good map overall, the complaints i have are to fix the walls, they look a little sloppy and that one double box with the two staircases should be a little more centered, and change that dbl box to an open box and put something in there, perhaps a regenerator or something.

    I like the map design and idea, but there really isn't that much interlocking going on. In the future keep in mind that interlocking is golden and the key success to making a professional map as well as a smooth one, anyways great idea and hope to see better results in the future!

    Thanks for the Compliment :), Yeah I did kinda do those walls in a hurry, I should make those a little more straight in the weekend.
    I like that idea with the open box however, But I can't use a regenerator as MLG does not use equipment. Prehaps and nice Couple of magnums or something.

    Thanks, I was going to interlock a little more but making things perfectly symmetrical is a pain. I'll try a little more in v2. And probably all of it in v3.

    the map is good. i like it because of its originalness. i think that the map could be better. first i would get rid of the floating sniper platform. its kind of random. i like how it flows and the weapon layout. i would suggest that you improve your forging skills and make another mlg map. let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks, The sniper platform is removed in Asymmetric game types, but I did think it made it to easy to switch bases. Thanks for the compliment and what do think I should work on for my next map?
