Sandbox Forerunner

Nice map dude! Love the way you made the walkways and the hallways in the middle! Not many symetrical maps are this well made, in my opinion. I only wish I had the Mythic maps.

 

Woah, this looks nice. I don't have the Mythic Maps yet, but I still like the layout, it looks big, but complex at the same time. The Hornet does seem a bit like overkill, but that's just me.

 

I would like to let you know that your white text is unreadable, please change the color and font. The map looks very impressive. I like the middle area and the red/blue lights. Very well done, I'll give it a DL. What type of hornet is it, transport or normal. This will have a lot to do with how powerful it is on the map.

It actually reminds me of the map I'm working on at the moment, only I'm using a Banshee in the place of the Hornet.
I'll post my thoughts on the map itself once I've had a look later.

 

Very nice layout.Cool colors and I dont know why it has that in sandbox.

Looks like a feairly good map, but i dont think a hornet would work very well with a floating map. especially one with not much vertical cover like this. other than that, it looks good.

 

Nice map, i really like the diagonal walkways. Once i get the Mythic Map Pack i will definitely DL. Also, in your weapons list, you listed a golf club. So sorry if this is already coming knowledge, but can you pick up the golf club???

yea the golf club is a weapon and this map looks good, on the 3rd i will download but until then i would need to wait to see all these maps

 

I honestly have to say that your layout completely reminds me of ascension. Your center structure definately looked like you based it off the one on ascension, and the hornet is relative to where the banshee would be. However, you actually put different bases on the other two sides of the map and the center area is elevated as opposed to sunk down. It's original, and I like what you did with your design. This looks like the first Sandbox map posted that could potentially work for BTB.

Note: I think that there needs to be a weapon to challenge the hornet, because honestly, the rockets won't cut it in all situations.

 

the map looks good kind of reminds me of Acencion or how ever u spell. I would dl for u but I dont have the maps yet

 

not for me; Canada. Anyways, same the transport hornet is overkill in my opinion. Maybe a mongoose or chopper so the you don't have the power of flight to take you back up to the map. Good map and name though.

 

Like I said to an earlier map such as this one, I will not rate it b/c I don't have the map pack yet, but by the looks of it it seems really good I would give you a 5/5 but since I don't have the map pack yet I will not rate either I will be too generous or too ungrateful.

It seems that a lot of you people don't know how to write a good solid review. *sigh* Anyways, Good to see you posting maps here Alec. I'll try and get a game on it and actually write you a solid review.

edit: oh, and I think it was a good call taking off your normal helmet...

 

I thought you could only get transport hornets on sandbox?

 

I wondered what you was building, this does look really good, it looks very complex and well designed. The gameplay also looks like it would be fair and fun. Great job.
