Haha, you have to pay lots. Get it from Play.com. In Britain it was £45 to preorder it. (That exactly $64.98) EDIT: This post is also the 4000th post in this thread! WOOOO!
lol, sucks 4 u. y not just tell ur mom that ur brother took 30 bucks from you? then if he doesnt give it back tell her again and then just find his money and take it. tell your mom that you really need the 10 bucks and hhope u get paid by the end of the week. luckily, i am buying a different game on march 4th, empire:total war. its only 50 dollars, plus tax(so about 54 dollars then) and i have like 125ish in the bank now. id give you a loan, but i dont know u that well...............
im going to see if prices go down on ebay when the people in australia get their hands on the map pack codes this thursday. idiots are bidding on auctions that end on thursday from australia... heh. they're going to go well over $40
This thread is really getting spammed up now. When are we locking this thread? While it's not locked: Do you think the slight slant on walls will affect you? I don't. because I won't use walls horizontally. You?
The wall thing and other little glitches bugged me at first, but if you think of it they are only going to be REALLY crappy in the skybox. buggy annoying skybox forging >>> no skybox at all
Yeah, if you're just using the walls for a narrow pathway it really isn't too much of a problem. The only time it's really an issue is when trying to make a larger flat platform. People will find creative ways to get around the problem.
not what ive found, most are immovable objects EDIT: sorry about the double post, i though tsomeone might have posted before the time i posted this, im so sorry
i think that with all the skyboxes problems, the crypt may be better to forge. it too is inescapable.
I feel people aren't paying enough attention to the main level. It's got a lot of awesome potential imo. It's the tallest pancake out of all of them.
The middle level is where I'm going to make vehicle-friendly maps. I really like vehicles, so I will spend a lot of time in the middle. But I'm still going to Forge up in the Sky Bubble first once I get the maps.
people will get there. but right now the skybubble is the new hotness, and foundry is where people can really expand on their foundry designs. I for one have big plans for the ground floor.. but they are put on hold for a skybubble map righ now then a crypt map next
How far is the drop from where the grid is (skybubble) to your death? Wouldn't using boxes make it farther to die, therefore a bit better gamplay? BTW, doesn't foundry's wall have slants and other problems?
you die about half an inch under the grid. the juicy filter makes the center of the killball glow purple.
The thing I'm worried about in the sky bubble will be flying vehicles. You're never going to know where the floor is, and then BAM!, you're dead if you go too low. The only solution to this would be to float objects much higher so you know not to go lower, but floating objects kind of defeats the purpose of the sky bubble. It'll still be great to forge on, once we learn to get around the little quirks.
For gameplay it would feel wrong just barely tipping of the edge and dieing instantly. It would be better to fall ten or fifteen feet so you can get that "wait...? OH SHI-" moment in before you just die.
