oh how i envy the guy with the code... who i forgot... *sigh*
My only wish would be that i am respected within the halo 3 community, instead i get messages after a match where i am the only teammate versus 4 people, they say that i'm a "n00b" and i got "pwnd"
The very fact that they only got 24 kills with 4 teammates and i got 17 by myself states the fact that i am indeed the superior player...
*sigh* how simple life was when all we had to do in a game was mash buttons instead of devising strategy and stealth!

Maybe a "pressure system" Like you have to have an object over a certain thing for it to appear.

I'm just holding on to the hope that the skull on Sandbox will need to be found via triggers, not merely stumbling upon it by happenstance. That's, like...lame.

What if it is a system of triggers, but once you hit the correct sequence, an avalanche of skulls comes roaring down one of the sand dunes.

Then out of that huge pile of skulls, you have to find the real Sandbox skull.

Now, that would be difficult. :p

It won't ever work. There is never a flow. People add some random thing that looks cool but doesn't play well. For a map to be solid generally there needs to be a more set mindset and plan for completion.

    If not, prove me wrong.

Not only difficult, but utterly hilarious. Just imagine all the machinima possibilities, especially if those skulls could kill someone (like a CONE!).

Speaking of those dunes, does anyone else think overloading the map will stop the uber towers of certain doom? And, secondly, how far will the physical ground go before it just become texture?

I would like to see a screenshot of how many items you can put on the map before hitting the OLN or Budget Limit.

The skulls are....tough to find, I think impossible in a game. I can't really talk about them.

The lasers shoot you and you instantly die. You can kinda dodge them in forge mode for a bit but not really. Invulnerable still kills you.

The skybox is huge and awesome. The main map area is huge and awesome. The crypt is huge and awesome.

I didn't really read through most of this thread, but we plan on doing a big review on it soon.

I wouldn't say it isn't possible because people have already done some insane things in Halo 3. (like geo-merging and interlocking)

We could just consider it plausible.

Oh, jealousy, like a raging river thou dost cover mine eyes and sweep away the thoughts of fond love!

In other words, darn you to heck.

As for more pressing matters, did you find the skulls? Obviously, you can't say where if you did, but...did you at all, or are you not at liberty to divulge that info?

Can they shoot through immovable objects? Like, could you place an open box type piece out there and stand in it safely?

They do not kill through immovable objects, and we've found all 3 skulls.

Well, the recipients are respected Halo players throughout the community. Both mature, and intelligent. Bungie knows that before-hand, and is certain they won't be publicizing any information on it, or they will lose permission, or just make it feel awkward. Along with your Agreement, which was probably mandatory.
