At this point there appears to be little left to reveal, other than perhaps how the golf items work. Knowing Bungie, though, they'll have a small surprise left. They always do. =)
I'm sure they will at least acknowledge the release of the maps, and maybe give us a recap on what we already know. I kinda hope that what we've seen of Sandbox is all that there is. There have been too many surprises!!
Golf items are boring. Pretty much the golf ball is a reskinned soccer ball and the club is a reskinned hammer.
Bungie will probably say, if anything, a riddle. Three to be exact. In no specific order. They will reveal the locations of the skulls. And we will have no idea until two weeks. That or I'd have to go with ODST stuff or what you guys have said.
Thank you for pretending that your opinion sums up the entirety of the Forging community, sir...:squirrel_shiftyeyes Reborn, I am with you; I don't think my poor heart can handle much more unless I get to play this blasted map soon...preferably on your Damnation remake! =D
So? At least it will sort of feel like we're golfing. .. Oh and we also get a hole to shoot the golf balls into. I had this amazing idea of playing Polo in Halo 3. It would be set up almost like Rocket Race mixed with Grifball. It would have been in the Crypt, and each team of course has their own Mongoose. The person on the back is equipped with a Golf Club and the objective is to hit the Golf Ball into the other person's goal. It sounded good.. until I learned that the Golf Club is just a re-skinned Hammer. If I remember correctly, you can't hit crap with a Grav Hammer while on the back of a Mongoose. Just don't count on mine being the best remake. I'm not really an expert Forger, but I always try my best.
Hmm yeah I really don't see how finding the skulls will be remotely difficult. Won't someone find them in forge in the first five minutes of release and post their location? You should be able to say anything out in the open here. No point in saying things where people can't see them.
I was referring to the fact that you called said items boring, not that you described the ball and club as reskinned soccer and hammer objects. Reborn: Au contraire, my friend. Hammer's do a good bit from the back of a Mongoose. Unfortunately, that good bit consists of...launching said Mongoose. So, basically, nothing. =P
Knowing bungie, unless everything is like the orbital skull and we are right about it, it will be extremely difficult.
Yes, but what's the fun in watching videos of the skull's locations? I'd rather just search for them myself.. or with a mexican/american skull hunting party.
If Bungie behaves like they normally do, then we can expect two skulls to be mildly difficult and one to be near impossible (yet remarkably simple at the same time). Oh, Bungie... I'm hoping it will be more like finding the IWHBYD skull, rather than Iron or anything like that.
That is unless... the skulls are only visible while not orbiting in monitor or theater mode. Meaning players might have to climb to great heights, legitimately..... doubt it though.
Hey, maybe we can redo the community map idea here! For anyone who doesn't remember, or never saw, it was where one user would go into the map and add one thing. Then it would go to another member and so on. It never worked, but maybe we could try again. With sandboxes size, that would be excellent!
I'd hazard to guess that they're about as difficult as the ones tucked away in the Campaign. With the exception of the IWHBYD, of course.
Like I said earlier, I bet the Sandbox skull will probably appear in one of the Death Beams that shoot out of the large towers. You have to be quick while obtaining it, or you will die. Nah, but I do think it will be hard to find. You would think it would be easy to find on Sandbox since you can remove items and junk, and there's not much going on, but like Lance said; hopefully it will be like finding the IWHBYD skull.
