By what do you mean unlikey? It is actually extremely likely. By bungie deleted said video it proved it. Psycologically it makes sense to remove a secret as fast a possible. But that was not the case here. To remove this secret, removing it only proves it was there. To remove this secret safely, they should have actually left it and lied. As such it makes sense it could be the skull. And not all waepons could be reached by geometery. How do we know it doesn't appear in forge? Maybe only in matchmaking, which makes even buddy jumping a difficult task. Psycology dictates that is more likely the skull than before.
Discussing the POSSIBLE locations of the skulls on ASSEMBLY and ORBITAL is perfectly fine here. It is the persons responsibility to realize we know very little about the skulls and that anything here is hearsay and improbable.
So I have a new topic to try and bring the topic off the skull issue. Does anyone else think assembly and orbital will be good for forging? Most of orbital's scenery is deletable, as seen in forge walkthrough, and assembly's grav lifts can be deleted.
i was not aware that the grav lifts could be removed.. thats kind of epic. Damn this map pack is amazing. I only with the older maps couldve had the same glamorous treatment.
If you can have big immovable objects on Orbital (I didn't see any) I think it will be the best of the two for forging. It will obviously be better than a few of the other DLC maps. As for Assembly, besides a few extremely creative maps that will use the odd setting of the map I don't think it shows to much promise for forgers.
Definitely Orbital. It reminds me exactly of Halo 2's Elongation. Forge may be claustrophobic, but that such detail will create originality, and innovations. I can think of many possible Mini-games already, and has anyone noticed how well the default layout seems to be for Conquest? The tunnels almost make me wonder, did they make it for conquest. Just, I wonder what our forge pallet will be. I definitely hope we can have those generator/crate scenery items. Those would be great to use as cover, and blocking portions of the map off.
Yeah, unless you can't place them but you can delete them, I guarentee you can place generators. And I think forging on Assembly will be like forging on Cold Storage, difficult, but very, very fun.
Yes, yes. We're going to have to experiment on how high up the barrier is. Possible multi-tiered maps could be created on Assembly, or at least I can manipulate an image like that.
I was thinking more along the lines of breaking the map, seeing how far we can get into the inner workings of a Scarab factory. I think you could milk some stellar game play out of maps outside the normal boundries of Assembly
I think Assembly will be the better of the two to forge on for the same reasons. Orbital will be like forging in the interior of Rat's Nest. All that's being done is blocking off portions. Assembly, however, is open, so it will be easier to forge on.
Never imagined that. Sounds inquisitive though. Bungie has probably rigged some Death Barriers up, as well as some invisible barriers. But, that hasn't stopped us yet. I wonder how high we can travel to the top of the middle structure. Maybe even spawn a mini-game utilizing that 'tower'
I personally believe that Orbital is by far the forging map. But I just had 2 ideas for Skull locations on both maps. Orbital: I dunno if you have all seen the Gamestop Mythic Preview, but a large chasm is seen in the map's center. I bet the Skull is something to do with that Shaft. Assembly: In light of the realization of Deletable Gravity Lift, I bet the Skull has something to do with Deleting that main blue Gravlift.
Perhaps the scarab is an object. We could have a map with an already placed train! That would be interesting if we could do it, but unlikley.
yeah, fun Dodge the scarab mini game. orbital will be the best for infection though, its got the atmosphere, open able/closable doors, tight, maze-like hallways
Can you melee through walls? Can you enter vehicles through walls? Can you operate turrets through walls?
Those were rhetorical. You can melee enemies through thin walls. And you can pick up items through walls on occasion.
Wasn't revealed, but if you watch the forge walkthrough you see when they go over grav lifts the grasper shows.
