Wow, you guys are rude. I'm a member of that site, a staff member actually. Sure it's similar to forge hub, but honestly, how else are you going to build a forge website? Besides, I like a smaller community which is exactly what Monitor Built is. Things are run different over there anyway. I'm a member of several forging websites that could all be compared to forgehub like this. But the truth is they are all run by different people and all have different tastes, etc. What's the problem with more than one forging site anyway? It's kind of like businesses in real life. They sell the same product, but are they the same? no. Also, a mod needs to lock this thread....
I never "denied" anything. In fact, I even said it's similar to forge hub. So please, just stop bashing the site.
The only problem with that ideology is that if there are two products, and it's just that one is copied off of the other, then what's the main point to jump ship back and forth? It's one of the main reasons that I'm telling Forgery to go into the completely other direction of Forge Hub. It can grab a different group of people who want things that Forge Hub does not provide.
Let's see, so there's Target and Wal Mart right, They both have the same idea, everyday low prices on your super market needs. Some people are Wal Mart people, others are Target people, and others go to which ever one they need to. Today Target is having a sale on laundry detergent, Wal Mart is having a sale on pillows. Today, you just happen to need both, you go to both Wal Mart and Target to get the best deal on all your needs. Get the point?

Except for the fact that both Walmart and Target use sweatshop foreign-suppliers only, but that's besides the point. Anyways, what's the 'sale' that FH and MB are providing that sets them apart? Hm. MB is grey and red instead of FH's grey and blue. Oh, the Friday Night Fight from FH is called Saturday Night Showdown on MB. 1v1 tournament on MB? Hey, that's original. Wait, no, it's been done before as well. Point is, MB is playing catch-up by just using older FH contests/organization. Do something unique, fresh, and you'll get a different audience, and more than likely, a bigger one than those that just don't like one particular aspect of FH.
Well, I guess I'm defeated, I just started a thread in the staff forum there suggesting we change up our structure and provide something that other sites don't. I'm not an admin there though, just a guy that features maps and stuff, but hopefully Adelyss will take it into consideration. Perhaps you're helping us in the long run Nemi.
Yeah. I'm working with Null to help develop his site's direction, but I'm not actively involving myself. If you look over at their site now, you can see that they're doing a community poll for site changes, to involve the community into the site more.

So hold on, Just because Forgehub has a gamenight, other sites cant? And just because MB is having a 1v1 tournament means that they copied FH? Its a GAME. Everyone can freely do whatever they want, FH (Or any other Halo Site) doesnt own the right to say that we are copying. Monitor Built was originaly a Social Group on Bungie.net call "Map Maker Guardians", it has now expanded and is growing. And truthfully, MB is a nicer verison of Forgehub. On MB you wont get spam'd anywhere, even if your map doesnt have interlocking. I learned to forge from MB, and the members constructive criticism. I can tell you i would not have learned that much from FH, with the many "0/10 it looks like crap" posts, and i in no way want this to be a attack on FH. Lets be mature and end this now. PS: The staff of MB are actually quite sick of our immature members coming here and advertising...we have told them multiple times to not do it, and in fact we are so sick of it we are punishing them for doing so...so we are just as sick of it as you are.
FnF=SnS 1v1=1v1 Black and Blue=Black and Red PPC=PPC Etcetera, MB's good stuff, but it's not making any real changes worth noting. Also, would you look at that! MB has generalizing, just like FH!

Adelyss is a great guy, and it's a pretty cool site. If you don't like it stay here, whatever no one is forcing anything upon anyone. Stop being a bunch of rude assholes.
