It doesn't really matter. The point I'm really getting at is that the balls won't roll right for the game type. It would work like a last man standing, where you have to shoot others off of the ball so it would be hard to stay on, but as for rolling towards each other and knocking others off their balls, it won't work.

I doubt bumper balls would work, sorry if I got anyone's hopes up. But, with the amount of golfballs we are getting, I can make another idea work.

Do you guys not realize how hard it is to balance on balls?

yes im fairly sure you wouldnt be able to "balance" on the balls as they move. the game would just be who can stand still the longest, even if you did make it work. so it wouldnt be a very fun game, therefore a waste of time to try to make.

It really isn't that hard to do. I could roll around on a ball for ages. I guess it would never be a popular game because of the techincal aspect, just a casual game for friends.

wait... actually, on foundry at least, its not THAT hard to roll on top of the ball. I've tried it just now, and i can roll pretty good at least. But, you pretty much have to look down the whole time in order to see where you're going. so I don't think there could be weapons involved. And it would still be a pretty short game. Plus, spawn points would be hard to place exactly.

I actually have a substitute Mario Party game. Sorry Rusty for butting in on your idea, but I just had a thought. Anyone remember the Ninja map? Well there was this one part where you had to stand on the soccer ball while slightly moving forward to reach safety. Well the soccer ball was held in air by two bridges on a down angle making the soccer ball wedged in. Well, I feel that could replace the idea. Think it will work?

It's not hard to stay on the ball, but to roll directionally is very, very hard.

That's exactly how I was going to do my ctf game. Have these ledges inside tunnels and go to the other base, you fall you die. I don't think it would that much fun to be honest. Unless, you wanted to make a halo version of marble blaster.

i've actually developed a method for this, within a few minutes, tho its hard to explain. if you jump on the ball, and move backwards slightly, then let the ball carry you forward, you can roll forwards. if you do this and start to turn, the ball will start to turn the same direction.

I would find it quite entertaining, but that is my opinion. We would definitly get those players who ***** about falling off though. But making it into a game would be immense fun, and would be a definite for HD. I'll have to speculate more about this later.

Punching the ball also gives it momentum.

hmmm... it seems to work, but its a slower start off, although it is a safer method.

EDIT: omg... i got the ball into a perfect momentum. it is spinning in the same track on its own, with me on top. sweeeet lol. its kinda freaky. im just spinning and riding on the very "edge" of the ball.

Lulz? All I see is a very blurry picture and a circle. I see no skull... I'm just going to search YouTube for videos on where these skulls are. I have to work on a super uber pwn map. I don't want to go searching for them!
