Really the only unique golfing item is the hole. The ball is just a reskinned soccer ball, and the golf club is a reskinned gravity hammer. Meh.. lets see what this hole can do! Oh, and I find it funny how anyone can be that bad at Halo 3.. I mean, I wasn't even that bad at Halo 3 the first day I got it. Hell, I got a few good snipes my first game!
I have so many ideas with Sandbox. I just can't quite use them .. yet Did nyone notice that is says "projectiles can go through the grid" in the sky part? So maybe monitors can fly all the way down or something... but i have no idea why you would want to do that. :\
And what makes you think the Monitor is a projectile? The Golf Club is an edited Brute Hammer i believe. Not Just Reskinned. Resized
I actually have a couple ideas that will probably never be seen through... My first one is a V.I.P of sorts where you have to fly up through the Crypt up to the second layer. The objective would be to get all the defending team to the normal layer and the attacking team would have to kill them on their way up. The Defending team would only get a Hornet, maybe a Transport version, and fly up to the top of the chute and standard weapons. The Attacking team would have some more destructive weapons and can only use Plasma and Spike Grenades, Spike grenades might be too powerful though. I can see some huge use of Geo-Merging for the chute part and maybe some overly done aesthetic building at the very top. Only problems I can think of is that V.I.P mightn't be able to do what I have in mind and the chute might be way too small to fit a Hornet in a Heavily Geo Merged enviorment. My second idea is a sort of progressive CTF. It would start off as a Standard CTF match but once you take the Flag, you don't bring it back to base. You bring it to an entirely different 3rd Base. I think using all 3 Layers could be done for this idea as 1 Layer can be the first base, the next layer can be transition between base 2 and 3 and the Sky Bubble can be made to be a big shrine where you place the Flag. If anything, the use of all 3 layers could make it refreshing to see a constant change of enviorment. To help make sure the other team is prepared to defend the 3rd base, I could probably set up a telebouncing part to help the attacking team prepare and the defending team to relax for a bit. I'm not sure what the settings for returning the flag will be as I don't want the attacking team to drop the flag when they need to fight but I also don't want them losing the flag seconds after dropping it a bit as I can imagine that getting annoying if the Flag Carrier dies and the flag just goes because nobody could get there in time.

Hopefully the skulls aren't found right away. That way I can invite people to my game and make them do ridiculous stuff that eventually leads them to be killed by one of the laser towers.
yah lol i bet they put the skull like way out by the laser towers. i think an ez way to get it then would be to go allllllll the way to the edge of the skybox, behind the towers if necessary, and put a teleporter down by the skull and then up on the skybox. mision accomplished!
I wonder if they put restrictions around the skulls. If they didn't, it'd probably become the easiest achievement ever. Just download a map, start it and pick up the skull in front of you. BAM! Achievement unlocked. Or, they did and many fake maps will pop up saying that you spawn in front of the skull only if the gametype is Oddball... I wonder how many people will fall for it.
Don't know if this has been posted yet.. The golf club as well as golf ball and hole You can see the Cross hair is different, and you can see the detailing on the club itself. I also notice just like the Grav hammer and beam rifle, it has the little bar instead of ammo or anything. I found it with a load of other images, including all three map selection screens with descriptions of each map. I noticed the Golf Club has an ammo count.. along with a nice picture of a Golf Club in the top right corner of the HUD. So, I guess this means that it will work just like a Gravity Hammer. That's pretty sweet.
o i see it now. i think that means you can wack people with it and kill them instantly. not with a grav hammer effect though, just with a physical hit. i wonder if it breaks once it gets to 0?
