Tied the Leader: The Sands of Myth That there is a pretty in-depth preview of Sandbox. It has some images that were shown yesterday that we thought would get us in trouble lol. Word of Caution: There is a link to a tutorial on how to find the Mythic Map Skulls at the bottom of the page. If you do not want to know the locations now, don't click it. EDIT: Lol, it's not a tutorial. It's just a link that takes you to a stupid thing about Crystal Skulls.
Oh, if you guys didn't notice in the videos, they made the blocks a lot smoother. A guy walked from block to another, and barely made a bump, uninterlocked.
Yes but they also added more texture to all the objects skins. =[ On Foundry atleast you had the smooth side on the bottom of the boxes, so things looked okay interlocked, I'm pretty sure interlocking is going to look ulgy with the new pieces.
Bit it would be a real problem for a lot of people. It wont effect gameplay true, but I think it really would effect aesthetics.
Yeah, I hear you. I never really got into aesthetics in Foundry because I thought Foundry wasn't really easy on the eyes to begin with. Maybe Sandbox will be different though. It definitely looks amazing.
Some more videos and whatnot of the maps Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack - an Early Look an interview again IGN: Halo 3 Preview some more vids and pics We play the next Halo 3 DLC : News from 1UP.com Enjoy.
You're a little late, Forsaken, but that 1up Preview is pretty new. In the Assembly video, you can hear the guys talk about how the Golf Club is just a re-skinned Gravity Hammer. I guess that means that when you swing it, it will still emit the "Gravity Blast". I was kinda hoping it wasn't like that though.
I knew the IGN thing was old but no one posted a link to the actual interview so i posted it lol, i wasn't sure about the HBO link or the 1up link.
You were hoping it would just be like a energy sword? Where it would kill if you hit but with no splash damage? They would have to make a new weapon instead of re-skinning an old one.
Like scenery? But thats not half as epic as it being a grav-hammer in hiding. But it doesn't matter, my maps gonna be the first "Golf Showdown" 16 way fight to the death with Clubs and Golf Balls Its probably gonna suck D:
Yeah, like Scenery, just wieldable. I guess it's fine that it's just a Grav Hammer because how else is it going to get anywhere? If it didn't have the Gravity Blast, then it would only move like a few feet lol.
