IGN has confirmed the gold club is a skined version of the hammer! So this will make for some funny game types
Usrs? Hells yeah I'm a make a montage! All my maps from here on out will use golf clubs instead of grav-hammers.
One thing I particularly liked in the IGN Preview is that they said the Sky Bubble is 3 times the size of the Ground Level.
If you watch the video where they somebody was forging in the sky bubble its pretty obvious its a bit bigger than the flat part of the middle level.
The golf club hammer is hilarious! There is a lot of fun to be had on this map! Although I'm going to be torn when I buy Halo Wars, I won't know what to play first! Probably Halo Wars, lol.
Pfft.. the first thing I'm going to do is definitely Forge on Sandbox. Screw Halo Wars!! Nah, I will still go to Sandbox first, but then I'll go to Halo Wars and beat the Campaign.
Lol, I saw that thread. Nice poll options lol But if you were being serious, I was going to tell you that Sandbox should not be free for Forge Hub.
Ok, let's talk shadows and lighting, let's not forget that sandbox isnt lit by one lighting source such as a sun, it's lit by numerous lights that come from seperate directions from the towers so technically the shadows can go any which way and it'd all make perfect sense. in reality, their should be multiple shadows for every object of course bungie didn't make it like this due to the fact the game would lag from producing 6 or more mirror image shadows for EVERY object in the map. So, depending on what the object or halo 3 game engine is using as its source of light depends on where the shadow will go therefore the unrealistic shadows. Proof: From what i can see there are 6 different light sources plus the moon/sunrise in over the horizon which makes 7* possible directions that a shadow for any given object may go. *side note: Isn't it odd that it came out ot be 7? although there could be more.
