Sadly, it's not possible. Interlocking will still have to be used Bungie was unable to re-write the coding of Forge to be able to do things like that.
I know it's sounds improbable, but the grid is probably a movable object on its own. It's available on all three tiers..

Yeah its just a grid that only shows up in forge, so you can place objects neater. Like the floor of Foundry.
Nemi is not dumb you bafoon! He knew what the grid was, that was old news... Aside from Nemi's freakishly immense intelligence levels, I am hoping for the grid to be movable. Not everyone wants to Forge in a designated area..
I doubt the grid will be movable. Its a huge plain that would be hard for most people to manage. You have to copy the image to your file share first, then you can add it to your file sets.
not movable. it appears as map geometry on all three tiers when in forge mode. its not an object, otherwise im sure they would have added it to the list
It wouldn't be hard at all. I mean, look at objective markers/respawn areas. Bungie wouldn't have to do much other than copy one of those items, change the name and the texture, and voila!

Jimbo, why the hell would it be movable? Than you'd accidentally hit it, mess it up and get all of your boxes crooked. It's way more trouble than the useful purpose it serves being static.
He actually gave a very solid fact. Any movable object was given in a list a week ago in the weekly update. Every object. The grid was not on it.

other zones Hey, does anyone know exactly how to get to the other zones, the the skybox or the crypt, or will you have to use glitching? Turret wise and such. BTW does anyone have a list of objects that you can utilize in Sandbox?
