You don't think there will be a difference in graphic quality between the demo and the full version?
That they might have down graded the graphics a bit to make it more manageable to download over the internet?

 

That really does look significantly different! The graphics look much more impressive in the video demo than they do in the one on my xbox. I'm assuming the 360 just couldn't handle everything the game was throwing at it. We're also looking at a campaign mission in the demo, so naturally the bases are a little different than in skirmish matches.

Still, it's a bit disappointing that they couldn't meet those expectations they set a year ago.

 

That is entirely possible, and probably the case.

 

I just saw an E3 2008 demo, and it looked just like the one we've been playing. I think the demo is exactly what we're going to get in the full game.

 

You have to remember, you don't know how long ago this "demo" was made. The graphics could be better by now.
And also, things had to of changed from E3, the graphics are much better now probably.

Of course, I could be completely wrong, but we'll see.

Well despite the graphic changes and a few control/aiming issues I still enjoyed the demo

 

I just recently realize once you've upgraded your marines to ODSTs you can drop them in anywhere, its petty bad ass. You also can pick marines up and mass transport them in a Pelican! I had no idea! I'd imagine it would be a useful tactic when playing 2v2 or 3v3.

 

I know. There's nothing on the screen, then you shoot down 10 ODST drop pods and your screen is filled with ODSTs. It's so epicsauce.

 

i thought you could only send 1 drop pod with 1 squad of ODSTs. thats what happened when i did it. i used up on the dpad, from the same menu thing where you can use a mac blast, and it created 1 new squad, not transported an existing one. is there another way where you can drop all of them?
wait it could have been because i already had 39/40 population or whatever its called.

 

It takes 5-10 seconds to load each new drop pod, if I remember correctly. It stops at 10, so you can do 10 but then you have to wait for the to load up. And they do count toward population.

 

i am really excited but i tried to download it and it is taking forever.

When does the mythic maps become aviable for those that didn't get the halo war limited edition?

I got told they come a week before Halo : ODST comes out. But thats pointless, if the maps are going to be ready when halo wars is realesed why give them out after that lengnth of time?
