Also, a way to differentiate the 2 bases would be nice. Sometimes you spawn in a neutral area and you aren't really sure which way you are headed until you get there. Maybe some visual markers such as interlocked Camo and shields on opposite bases MLG style would help.
There is a dilema in this since the item limit is hit and Blazen for some reason decided to unbudget glitch Custom power ups intead of camo and overshield. I will nonetheless see what I can do. Also Lights were you talking about on the lower platform?
I think he was, but yeah I do believe that I experienced minor spawn problems with flag recently. Mainly the flag away spawns, but if any more problems arise please let one of us know and we will attempt to fix it. As to the power-up designations I'm pretty sure that's one thing public didn't want (but i have suggested it) I personally don't think it will add much to the maps aesthetics which are to appear covenant, and I have no disorientation of any kind playing this map as you have the normal map to your left from one side and its to your right on the other side, but I'll make sure he knows of your suggestion.
Thankyou for trying it out and letting us know what you think! Through the course of a match one can expect to wait out at least one plummet as is. There is no margin for error with spawn killing, it becomes a major problem. I see people are on it already, these guys are AWSOME! And they work for free!! I assure you that it will be corrected. Thanks for testing it out. Early on in the build I discovered that I needed to find a way to differentiate where I was on the map, so I would stop exploding every 5 seconds. I still maintain these visual markers when I play now, they are so obvious that they are easy to miss but extremely useful for location awareness. The first one is the moon. The sky is very bright behind one base while dark behind the other, it is a very noticable difference if considered. The next one if you return to the map is almost alway right next to you. From Blackout looking at Transfusion there is a giant sheer face ice shelf directly behind the map. while on transfusion horizontialy the snow capped cliff edge will almost always be around eye level on one side of you or the other, depending on which way you are facing relative to the map. In the sword room I always look for the strange looking smoke stack through the shield doors or again the ice shelf.
This map is simply amazing looking. It reminds me of Introbarring, which was featured. The only problem I have with this map is that the gameplay was less than awsome. I played Team slayer, and CTF and there were some spawn issues. Also it seemed a little to open to me, but thats just an what I think.
You never fail in amazing me, this time my help was like barely there, I'm honored that I was one of the first who set foot on Transfusion, we all have got to admit though that you had the most patience by far when it came to forging. Keep it going mate, I'll have my hands on the Far Cry 2 editor, untill the mythic map pack comes out, as well as halo 3 odst, Anyway Great job 5 stars mate, all for you.
Wow, Lex " Persister " thnx that means alot to me! A whole lot, you are a true friend and a good person. Im glad you didn't let what happened between ninja and I interfere with our friendship. I would have never said such things about collision to ninja, if when I posted the origional Transfusion he did'nt come and flame the **** out of it! I actually like collision. It was the final kick in the face I was willing to take from him. I'm still not even sure what he had to do with building Collision from the template, I gave it to you to use not him. He actually claimed to have had a hand in building the template because he rebudget glitched a few things after it was completed. You are the only person who can vouge for that because you were the only reason he saw it in the first place! Oh well, did you ever think I would ever have gotten this far with it? I'm still shaking my head, and I swear it drove me insane long ago and continues to still. I have had so much heart ache over this whole map, I'm not sure I'll ever build another one. Sorry about that Corruption my bad. He is now finishing an idea I developed above Avalanche. We were supposed to be partners but I have had my passion for building shredded from inside my soul with this whole experience! Geez that would have been an amazing map, it may have been the greatest map ever! Its ok I think I helped him enough because although its not my vision, he has a real gem going up there. We'll see if I get any credit, I've learned not to expect much its the nature of the beast I guess. I still remember I was so excited to show you the proto type of transfusion, and when you saw it you told me it was complete ****.
I was fortunate to have the original Transfusion and I thought it was great. Although I had only played FFAs on it, it was still a blast. This new and improved version makes it even more of an epic map. Aesthetics The map itself is a piece of art. The "drill" is very original and looks great. All of the interlocks are smooth and it's great that all of the boxes are the same color. The nodes at top center add a nice little touch to the map, and they also block lines of sight (which is a good thing, considering that the middle is so dangerous). The man cannon lighting is also a very nice touch, and makes the map even more original. I was surprised to see that the forger interlocked man cannons into the bottom of the map to make it look like they were making the map float. The map looks beautiful; it really does. Gameplay Well, I've only played FFAs on the old transfusion, but I am positive that the new one will play far better. The map flowed great and the only weapons that seemed slightly overpowered were the two beam rifles. In the new Transfusion there is only one, so that problem is fixed. Also, in the old Transfusion the teleporters on the bottom were very inconsistent. This part of the map has also been improved in the new version. The new bottom platform is really helpful to the gameplay, and adds even more ways to attack/escape. The basement looks nice as well, but I'm not sure if the sword will be too much of a problem. It never was in the FFAs I played, so I don't think it will be. Another great improvement is all the ways you can get from the top of the map to the bottom. There are new jumps, which can be very rewarding, or punishing, if used foolishly. Overall the gameplay is very smooth and balanced, and it's a "risk and reward" type of map. just keep in mind that I have never actually played team gametypes. Conclusion Download this map now. It will be a map that will stay on your hard drive forever, and the wonderful aesthetics and smooth gameplay make this map a must have. Plus, it's nice to take a break from bland old Foundry. This map deserves a feature IMO. Great job to everyone who worked on this!
This map is simply the greatest forge map i have ever seen. so much time and effort must have been put into making it. this map really deserves a lot of credit!!!

You mean the debate? Debate threads get a lot of traffic because there are so few of them compared to other theads on FH. Its just about how popular a certain forum is.
best slayer map on blackout; thx for the template ill probably use it to make a map; also really good fusing and balancing floating in the air outside the map that took skill
